As I walked home from a lecture on Zeno's paradoxes, I contemplated the ideology and validity of Zeno's ideals. And as I walked I passed a fragrant rose bush, taking in the scent, I restablished my knowledge of one of Zeno's most famous claims, that theoretically, an object cannot move. The reasoning behind it is that to move a certain distance, you must walk half of that distance, then half of half and so on. Since there are an infinite amount of halves, there is an infinite amount of distance the object must cross. Walking more, I scoffed at the absurd idea, then stopped dead in my tracks, I had just again caught a whiff of a rosebush.
