AITA - Graggle Simpson

Reddit, am I the asshole for tricking my friend into thinking Graggle Simpsons was in the show?

(M) and my friend (M) we are both very big fans of the popular tv show the Simpson we have watched the show every day since we were little boys. I love them. But last month I started to discover this new Graggle Simpsons character. It was a troll and a parody of the Mandela effect thing. Where your brain tricks a large number of people into remembering something small that was never a thing. My friend let's call him Freddy. Freddy is a very easily deceived person and he has always been. And I used to trick him a lot when we were younger.

So I decided to pull another prank on him. Since we both were big fans of the popular show the Simpson.

I decided to trick Freddy (my friend) into thinking that this Graggle guy was actually one of the main protagonists in the show. I told him about it and he demanded proof. And I showed him a few images I had found on the internet. And he believed it and wanted to watch a Simpsons episode to look out for the Graggle character.

I told him I had to find the tape where Graggle was in. And I told him he could come back in two weeks. So that week I left my job and spent my time adding and animating Graggle Simpsons into EVERY episode and season of the popular show the Simpson. After the long weeks of animating and adding him into the show and pulling the ultimate prank ever. I showed him all the episodes and in the span of a week, we marathoned the Simpsons and got the Graggle experience.

Keep in mind I had edited the whole show and even animated a few exclusive scenes and plotlines involving Graggle Simpsons.

But then something unexpected happened he googled, Graggle Simpson, and got the truth... He was shocked and very mad. He called me and left me a text message saying Friendship over!!!. He has since after this message blocked me on all social media and is contacting the police. Am I the asshole????
