Alternate Ending - Murder Revenge
Have you ever heard of the indie game OMORI? If not, then it's based off of a kid named "SUNNY" who goes on misadventures with his few friends. He used to have an older sister named "MARI" who died a few days after their Final Duet. He was also from the headspace universe, but instead called "OMORI". He does the same as his real life self, going on misadventures with his pre-teen friends. But what about I tell you that just like OMORI, SUNNY has a dark side behind him? It's just my experience with one of a discontinued sequel of the game.
Recently, in an anonymous website there was a game called "STA". STA sounded a bit abbreviated to me, so I downloaded the game to know what it defines as. It might be obvious by the title.
This will not be what you would expect, almost.
The game booted up normally, the same generic game we loved after release. Albeit there was a twist at the end. A broad white background with one person only. Upon closer inspection, it looked a bit like SUNNY, he looked like he was sobbing. The animation was followed by the sounds of realistic crying, no not preestablished crying but like if one of the staff was in fact in pain, potentially a male. Before I could think about the reason why, an image of both AUBREYs popped up. Headspace was stabbing the actual one, the real AUBREY's blood spewing down the now filthy floor, her body was surrounded by harmless flies, maggots and other critters. Headspace AUBREY was looking at the camera with a menacing, sort-of-like OMORI smirk except it was wider and more crepuscular than before. The screen faded back to SUNNY crying, but even more immense, his face was revealed to look very miserable - even more miserable than his Headscape self's Miserable face icon. SUNNY then blurted out "You know what? They will pay! They will pay for what they did to my-
-wait, I think you know that SUNNY and AUBREY aren't siblings, right? Moving on-
-girlfriend! I loved her with every cell of my body and now that horrendous douchebag took her life." that quote shredded my mind and it all came clear:
Apparently, the Headspace AUBREY murdered SUNNY's GIRLFRIEND (who is clearly her) for some reason like if she (Headspace) was a maniac. SUNNY wanted vengeance on the Headspace family so that his family would recover from any Headspace trauma, if HS AUBREY were to go on a killing spree on the entire real life family.
SUNNY sounded like your average teenager, any average young adult of some sort. He sprinted away furiously to find something to kill her.
The scene cut to Headscape AUBREY chit-chatting with KIM, who was potentially in Headspace mode, both were talking about.. murder?.. until SUNNY sprinted in to confront them, he yelled at them saying rude things like "You imbeciles! They never knew (irl) AUBREY and I were dating! You shall be ashamed of yourself." before he could try to attack them, Headspace AUBREY replied with "Please.. don't! We were trying to spare OMORI with trying to.." but however, SUNNY interrupted them "Enough is ENOUGH! You dare kill someone else and you will PAY!" he waltzed away angrily, both HS AUBREY and KIM felt a bit scared potentially about killing SUNNY himself.
They did kill another anyway and SUNNY spotted them.
SUNNY took a perfectly-doodled revolver and shot HS AUBREY, blood streamed everywhere as her body fell loose. KIM, now with a face mixed of anxiety and fury before she could even yell at him..
..turns out that the gun had two bullets, the first one impacted HS AUBREY, then KIM. SUNNY shot her un-regrettably as she also collapsed.
Another image popped up, which was a tombstone. It said "AUBREY". It panned to what was next to it, briefly it was some sort of brick wall with legs visible. It panned up to see SUNNY, his body rotting into ash with all the critters, the same critters that the IRL AUBREY was surrounded by. His skin looked darker and duller, his eyes were gouged out and only very little of his teeth remained.
Another picture, this time of HERO popped up. He looked overwhelmingly drunken, his room was a full uncanny mess and what looked like KEL. He looked like if he already became a young teen with his stern-looking face trying to give eye contact to HERO.
As the screen faded to black, red Chalkboard SE text popped up saying "$%#= Ending", below there said "You're real life self's loved one was murdered for OMORI's rescue from demise. You decided the only choice to go deal with it is suicide. HERO started to have a hangover which his brother didn't like. The Headspace and Real Life worlds are tearing apart because of your choice you misfortunately chose. Thank you very much anyway for playing - OMOCAT".
The game instantly closed down before I could say anything about it.
The file was later cleansed off the website since it had ToU. If you have the file, your unable to remove it since it's folder potentially throws out some sort of AI that re-transports a copy of the game file.
