Amazing World of Gumball: The Truth
I found this bad creepypasta last week and thought it was so awful and unintentionally funny I decided to upload it here. Enjoy.
This story takes place when i was on camp with my mates in Grade 5. The entire grade went to Canberra during late 2019 and i was pretty lucky to meet the prime minister. By meet, i mean see him from a distance away.
We also went to one of the coolest science conventions in the entire country! There were so many breathtaking experiments and most of us went down this gargantuan slide. However, i decided not to go on the slide because i'm a big pussy.
At the time, i had 3 of my former best friends as roommates during the excursion. We would stay up late, really late. We would play video games, watch some animated movies and even eat junk food. This had a negative effect on our attitude. I started to tease one of my friends, the teachers would make us wake up etc.
While i was walking through the cafeteria, i noticed something on the ground. It was a blank DVD with the words
"Gumball truth"
In the centre.
Since i wasn't really a fan of TAWOG (The Amazing World Of Gumball) i thought about throwing the DVD into the nearest trash can. But i realised something, if it's a blank disc then it's definitely a lost episode. Since i was a fanatic of Lost media, i put it in my bag.
For those of you who don't know, The Amazing World Of Gumball is a cartoon about a cat named Gumball and his best friend and adopted brother Darwin going on various misadventures across the neighbourhood. I don't really watch it that often anymore, since i've moved on and discovered more adult things throughout my life.
While returning to the Room where my friends were in, i decided to have a look of the contents of the DVD. Unfortunately, the hotel we were staying in didn't have a DVD player. I asked one of the managers if there were any DVD players in any of the other rooms. Unsurprisingly, he said no.
Near the end of the day, i desperately wanted to watch the lost episode of TAWOG. Driving on a bus at night was bad enough, i was always worried that we were going to crash into a building. Not to mention, that the teacher always made us do a thing called "Carpool Karaoke" Which is more of an American thing in my opinion.
The next day, i had just remembered that i put a mini DVD player right in my bag. I was glad that i could finally watch the episode, despite it being 4:00 in the morning.
I walked around the place to see if anyone was awake at that time. To my surprise, everyone (even the security) were fast asleep. Possibly due to the stress of travelling to 2 or 4 places in 1 day. I've personally never been a fan of public transport, the reason why i don't is a long story.
Let's just say i got sick and accidentally vomited on the person sitting next to me. Unluckily, that person was really strong and had some a giant six pack. I got my ass beat, but i deserved it.
I put the disc into my mini DVD player and began to watch.
I really wish i could take that back. All the episode did was give me nightmares.
The episode started with the normal intro. But the audio was flat, flat enough to give me goosebumps. The screen was a much brighter tint as well and there were various shapes flashing across the screen.
The title of this episode was called "The Truth" Which was sort of a weird title. The truth? what could be the truth? could it be that we're currently living in a fictional world and life isn't real?
Anyway, the first scene showed Gumball and Darwin waking up. The weird thing is that the audio seemed to get louder and quiet every minute. Nevertheless, i knew every word that gumball and darwin were saying and i remember it all very vividly, too:
"Isn't school just the worst thing ever?"
"No there are many worse things in life, dude"
"I don't think there is, Darwin. Every day of my life just seems to get worse and worse"
"Don't think about yourself that way, there are many people who love you and know who you are"
"Most people at my school hate my guts for some reason"
"Except the teachers"
"Miss Simian hates me, Darwin. And she hates you too"
"Good point, Gumball"
The two then started to get ready for school. The background then changed from an upbeat, colourful theme to a bleak and depressing theme. Everything from now was in Black and White, however the audio stayed the same.
The two then chased the bus. However, the Bus was racing at high speed which made it impossible for Gumball and Darwin to catch up to it. They duo started to clearly mouth words, but instead of Dialogue there was a sound of ocean waves playing on repeat. I started to get a little weirded out but continued watching like an idiot.
The screen cut to Gumball sitting in Detention with a very sad look on his face. As if he was guilty for getting in trouble. The sound of ocean waves seemed to continued. This time, they were much louder and a sad piano tune could be faintly heard in the background. It also appeared to be quite windy outside as well.
Suddenly, the desk that gumball was sitting at started to fade away with the other desks crumbling into bits and pieces. Gumball then started to run away as some very intense horror music played in the background.
The school now looked severely damaged. Most of the doors were dirty, and the lockers were broken. Gumball ran up to Darwin and told him what was going on.
"YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE ME MAN!'
"Gumball, if this is one of your stupid pranks to get out of school early, then i-"
"DUDE! C'MON! THIS IS SERIOUS!"
"I don't believe you"
"WHY?"
"Because i-"
Just before Darwin could finish his sentence, he vanished into dust. Mister Small ran up behind gumball and asked him what was going on, because he heard him panicking:
"What's wrong?"
"Darwin i-is de-de-DEAD!"
"Come on, We can fix this!"
"No, no, no, HE'S ALREADY DEAD!"
Suddenly, an enormous scorpion crawled out of Mister small's mouth and started to chase gumball around the school. The screen focused on Mister Smalls corpse. His body had turned from white to green, and there was a grey substance coming out of his mouth.
The scorpion continued to chase Gumball as more students began to vanish from existence. The scorpion went over to Principal Brown's office and swallowed both Miss Simian and Principal Brown whole.
The Building then started to crumble down, so escaping the school was literally impossible. The scorpion grabbed Gumball by the neck and started to suffocate him. Gumball's face turned from Blue to Purple as he was struggling to breathe. The music got more and more intense as the Scorpion charged towards the camera. The episode ended with various images of Malnourished children. One of them had her veins popping out and her skin almost pale, another one had his skin decaying and his mouth extremely dry. The last one was lying unconscious on a blanket with his hair all greasy and his ears slowly falling off.
It faded to what seemed to be an Elderly lady, she had a Brobdingnagian nose and King sized eyes. She was extremely pale and she was also chewing on her own mucus. Some text in front of the picture said:
"Here's the truth: I can't stand this show anymore! i want all the characters dead. But most of all, i want everyone who worked on the show to be slaughtered. I have had enough of Life, and you should hate your life too.
