Arcade Black-Out

Donkey Kong is my favorite Arcade game of all time, even better than Galaga or Pac-Mania! As far as I can remember, this machine was at a local Century Park Theater, right next to a Sonic Drive Through. Everytime I went there, I would waste about $5 USD on the machine every week. But the last time would be the last time I ever played this..

That one night, I tried getting far, but the kill screen got me over and over. I tried begging my dad to give a dollar or 2, but he wouldn't budge. I was disappointed, but I had to go either way. I snuck out of my house to the theaters to play DK. All of a sudden, I was caught in no time flat, but I saw the machine flash, like the static on TV. I tried telling the guard that there was a demon at the machine, but he didn't believe me. The next day, I saw the highest score was replaced-

PLAYER SCORE

1. SAT 666,666,666

2. NIC 405,313,405

I thought the highest score was a weird coincidence that the guy was a Satan worshiper or something. Next day, I was handed a message:

DEAR NIC,

STAY AWAY FROM MY GAME OR ELSE!!!!!!!

I knew the spirit wanted something, but it seems it already did and wants something else.

The next day, I saw that "SAT" got other high scores

I knew what had to be done. So, I tried contacting the manager, but he said that some kid played around. I knew he was lying, because he said the wrong date that it happened. Eventually, the arcade game was removed with no warning the week. As you now know, I'm not really looking forward to play Donkey Kong anymore, even the Gameboy edition....
