What if you could have anything you wanted? What if you could get revenge on anyone who wronged you? What price would you pay? What would you sacrifice for this power? Your sanity? Friends? Family? Could you handle all that power? Probably not. But would that stop you? If you were smart than yes. Or would you?

The following dates have been removed and names have been changed in order to protect the innocent.

Peter Franklin had an ordinary life. He was a straight "A" student, above average IQ of 150, and he dreamed of becoming a detective, but he was not the only one. He had a rival. His name was Keirain Nite. Keirain was just as smart and eligeble as Peter. Keirain did things in his own little way though. So, in a way, he was better than Peter. Peter believed there was no easy way to do anything. Keirain looked for the easiest way to do everything. They were complete opposites. Peter vowed that he wouldn't lose to Keirain. Well, at this point, the year was almost over and Keirain had a better chance of getting an internship at the local police department. Peter was all out of options.

To calm his mind later, Peter was walking along the beach shore one Saturday when he spotted something black sticking out of the sand. He bent down and started to brush away the sand, revealing a black book. He turned it over in his hands. The front had a skull on it and the back was compleatly blank. He flipped through it. All the pages were completely blank. "I could use a new journal," thought Peter, so he brought the book home. The whole way home, Peter felt like someone was watching him.

"FUCK! Why can't I win against Keirain? I am so much better than he is! He uses dirty methods to solve crimes. I follow the law! Like I'm supposed to! I wish I could win."

Peter then closed the book and put it in his nightstand drawer. The next morning, it was lying open with his words scrawled across the page. Underneath it was a diagram of the human body.
