This creepypasta dates back to 2012, and hot damn it's so goofy and poorly executed. Worst one I've read in months. Enjoy!

Call of Duty, the best selling first-person shooter or all time. Even though I complain how every game they crank out every year is the same something kept reeling me in. I always would buy the special editions that come with a toy or something and this years Black Ops 2 came with a replica "Care Package".

Recently my friend told me that if your work at gamestop you got to close the store and play the game you were opening for "Mid-night Madness". This made me go get a job at the local Game-Stop so I could play Black Ops 2 earlier.

Two days before the game came out I was looking at the Pre-Order list and noticed something strange. On the list was a "Call of Duty : Black Ops 2 Platinum Edition". I never heard of this version and this was strange as I always was looking for news on the series. Now the even stranger thing was that it had no pre-orders. This made me cancel my pre-order on the Care-Package and put my money on the Platinum Edition.

As soon as the Midnight Madness ended I went to the back and opened the box containing the game I was so excited to play. I noticed the game was just like the normal Special Edition. It was in a care package box but it had the orange part of the box was had "Platinum" engraved in the left side. I wasn't really surprised as it was only ten dollars more the the normal special edition.

When I got home I opened it up and took out the R-C Drone, Tokens, and the grabbed the game. I opened the case and put the game in my X-BOX 360. It started with the title screen, no acitvision logo, niether was there a treyarch logo, just the title screen. I pressed start and it took me straight to the multiplayer. I pressed public game and it brought me into a game almost instantly on a map called "Sweden".

I was amazed at speed it took but on the realese day I would expect nothing else. The game started me in a house. I walked over to a window and left the house. When I got outside their we're alot of civilians. I started shooting at them for fun, like most would. I noticed that every civilian had really realistic screams, and blood, but I kept shooting either way.

I got bored as there were no players in the match. I guessed that the game mode was a new one that played somewhat like GTA. Eventually the police came and told me to put the gun down, But sounded like a real person, angry, sturn, and slightly afraid. I started shooting and they shot back, but instead of a strawberry jam looking blood on the screen, it went black.

It took me back to the X-BOX Dashboard and I kept trying to play the game again but it kept saying it couldn't read the disk and no Icon came up in the game slot. I was angry that my planned week of the game was cancelled because of this event I switched to the digital cable box. I was channel surfing when I saw a news report. It was about a man in Sweden who jumped out his window and started randomly shooting at a group of civilians.

I then started having a mental break down because of how hard it was to wrap my brain around the fact that I took control of a man a shot at a group of inocent people, then having the poor person I controlled get shot in the face. I dug in the care-package box hoping to find an explanation for the game. I found a piece of paper containing the code for the "Nuke Town 2025" map but the stuff you have to scratch off to reveal the code was already scratched off. Instead of a code it had a message.

You completed our dirty work, now we thank you. - Activision

I looked in the box again and found another copy of Black Ops 2 signed by the Treyarch crew, Nuke Town 2025, and a gift card to my local Game-Stop for two-hundred dollars.

I fell to the floor in tears, knowing what I have done. I looked up as the news reported said something that caught my eye. The man who I was controlling was Karl-Magnus Troedsson, the CEO of DICE, The developer who makes the Battlefield series.
