Black Prism

Thousands of years ago, in a small town, was a large building that towered over all the other structures, it was made to be seen from miles away. it was so tall that you couldn't see the top; only clouds. This also stopped the sun from shining down, leaving only darkness on the town, but the moon was different. Once every month, at midnight, one could see a white glow emitting from the tower. Only certain people were allowed inside, but there was one boy who was said to have snuck in, and what this boy saw was a mystery. When he came back home, he was completely silent. He never ate, he just sat in his room quietly.

The next day, he finally fell asleep. He lied there for minutes, his family sat beside him. Until he suddenly started having fits, uncontrollable spasms. He continuously choked and coughed up blood, until he suddenly stopped. He laid there with his eyes wide open, dead. His mother was shocked to see what had happened. When she looked in his eyes, she saw all of her fears, the worst fears imaginable until... She stopped, and just sat there motionless, completely silent.

Present day, the tower is in ruins, anyone was allowed in there, without knowledge of how sacred it was. Most of the tower has crumbled to rubble, leaving only one window, people came from miles away just to see it. The window was a large black triangle, so black that you cannot see through it at all. People had wondered for years why a window would be built if it isn't transparent but nobody knew... people who had looked through the window however, where said to have seen disturbing images, images of their worst fears. Images that were said to have horrified the viewer so much, that the person would be stuck in a permanent state of shock, unable to share the knowledge of what they saw.

If you ever come across a triangle of darkness, don't look through it, you might just see your worst nightmare.
