Bob the Builder - Lost Episode

I know most of you probably grew up in the early 2000's and watched a show called Bob The Builder. It was one of those shows made by Mattel Creations (formerly known as HiT Entertainment) besides Thomas and Friends, Barney, Angelina Ballerina, Fireman Sam, Pingu, Oswald, Rubbadubbers, Toddworld, etc.

Well, there was this one episode that was supposed to be the season 3 finale, but was removed from production due to it being too violent and too dark, and eventually was replaced with "Trailer Travis".

One day, I found a DVD in my attic, which was strangely labelled "Bob The Builder Original Finale". I went to my room and put the disc into my laptop.

This is where the trouble starts. There were no warning screens or preview screens or anything like that. It just started out with the Bob The Builder intro, except it was off-key, the music was distorted and it was bad quality. After the intro, the episode began. The episode title was called, "Bob's Last Day". Bob was in his living room, crying, although it sounded more like his voice actor was crying.

"Why did this have to happen to me?"

Bob cried, as it transitioned to some flashbacks, starting with Scoop, who also had both a sad and scared expression.

"It was all my fault, Bob."

Scoop said, as he then was crushed and killed (more likely destroyed in that case) by a car crusher. Next, it showed Muck in Bob's yard, who had a can of gasoline in her mouth. A few seconds later, she exploded, as metal bits of her went everywhere. The next scene then showed Dizzy. She had a sad look on her face as if something sad had happened. Eventually, she dove head first into an incinerator.

Like, what!? What the hell was going on here?

Then it showed Roley, who was stuck on a train track.

"Bob! Bird! Anyone, help me, please!"

Roley panicked, as he saw a train get closer and closer. About 3 minutes later, Roley was sadly ran over by the train, and Bird (Roley's animal friend) never came. The next machine was, oh no, not Lofty! Lofty was dangling near the edge of a cliff for about 5 minutes, before he fell off the cliff and crashed onto the ground and exploded into metal bits. This affected me a lot, since Lofty was probably my personal favorite in the show besides Scoop, Dizzy, or Bob himself.

More worse stuff was to follow. Wendy was pointing a gun to her mouth. After about a minute or two, she pulled the trigger and shot herself in the mouth as clay blood splattered everywhere. The next flashback showed Farmer Pickles on Travis, who obviously was drunk. The scene then transitioned to show a dog resembling a rottweiler standing on the road. As soon as Farmer Pickles and Travis were on the road, the dog lunged forward onto Farmer Pickles and mauled him to death. Clay blood splattered everywhere. This scared Travis, causing the now scared tractor to skid out of control and veer into a pond, drowning. The second-to-last flashback shows Spud the scarecrow, who was tied to the road, obviously stuck.

"Help! Someone please help me now!"

Spud yelled, before he was ran over by a semi hauler truck, causing stuffing to fly everywhere, and the truck to swerve out of control and crash into a tree. This actually made me feel relieved, since I hated that scarecrow.

Then, the last flashback, a flashback of Bird, appeared. Bird was standing in complete darkness, with a lamp being the only source of light. Then, a boney hand with a butcher's knife appeared on screen. Another boney hand appeared, as it pinned Bird onto his side, and what it did next truly messed up my mind.

He grabbed the knife, and started cutting his head off, while he was still alive. Bird cried and chirped in pain, as the knife dug through his wooden throat. His head was seen severed, as his body moved around, headless, and clay blood splattered everywhere, and even covered THE CAMERA.

The flashbacks ended. Bob's cat Pilchard watched, as he grabbed a sheet of paper and started writing with a pen.

He said and wrote:

"Dear Robert and Dorothy, I don't think I can move on without Scoop, Muck, Dizzy, Roley, Lofty, Wendy, Farmer Pickles, Travis, Spud or Bird. They are all dead. Goodbye Bobsville."

Bob then hung himself with a noose. After that, Pilchard walked to the bathroom, and saw the bathtub being filled with water.

Pilchard jumped into it, and after 2 minutes, she drowned.

The episode then ended with the usual end credits.

I mean, what?! Robert and Dorothy?! But, Bob's parents weren't even introduced until The Knights Of Fix-A-Lot special!

After I was done watching this episode, I ejected the disc, ripped it in half and threw it into the fireplace.

And that's how I never wanted to watch Bob The Builder again. It's just, it's not exactly my cup of tea.
