The other day, I got this email from my best friend. I'll call her Bobette to protect her.

The X-Box, it's back. It's coming for me. All I can do now... Is wait.
Here, I'll tell you what happened. You remember when we went to that garage sale a while back to look for used games? Yeah. You remember when I went to go look at the classics? This guy came up to me. He told me not to play this game. Then he gave it to me. But it's not what he did that matters, it's what he said. "YO DOG WHAT'S UP IT'S THE PRANK PATROL AND WE'RE GIVING YOU THIS GAME AND DON'T PLAY IT OR YOU'LL DIE" He screamed at me. He had a couple of ninjas that followed him around. On the disk, it just said "Bones". He threw a whoopee cushion at me and then disappeared into thin air. I could still smell the prank.
I took the disk home and put it in my new ps4. It's so much better than Xbox. So stop using an Xbox you freak. Anyway, I put the disk in again. It felt off, like it was made of ground up dog bones. Then I realised... My dog was missing. I thought dad just took it out for a walk, but boy was I wrong. So I called my dad and then he never picked up. So I went looking, and there he was!!! My dad was dead on the floor. So I kicked him and said rest in peace. I then went back to my PS4, and the title screen showed up. It displayed a skeleton! Was this meant to happen? I don't think so. Then... A Mario hat faded in. How nostalgic. I played through the game, starting with level 1-1. It was just like Super Mario Bros... But Mario was a skeleton!!! I controlled Mario, but he wasn't moving. The goomba that you first see was moving ominously towards him. I couldn't do a thing because the goomba was covered in blood! Mario was paralysed with fear. The goomba touched Mario... He died. The game over screen came up, even though I had 3 lives.
Then... Something I never expected occurred. Bowser came on the screen... "Hello Bobette." I screamed and threw my controller at the TV. I took the disc out, but it flew out of the ps4 and hit me in the head. I was knocked unconscious. The next morning, I woke up with the word 'BONES' cut into my wrist. I screamed. Nobody heard me. I looked around, and my PS4 was gone. There was an Xbox instead. It was covered in HYPER REALISTIC BLOOD. I ran out of there, but the loss of blood got to my head. And I died. I possessed a computer to talk to you, but this is goodbye. Forever.
This was the last I'd ever heard from her. My best friend... I need to go find out what happened to her. I run over to her house and kick down the door. The only thing inside, is a blood covered Xbox. It has a game sticking out of it. I picked up the game and took it to my house, where I put it in my ps4.
Police report – 6/9/2006
This was the last anyone ever heard of Brendan Miles. He was Bobette's undercover dad. After playing the game, he killed himself, or so we think. The only thing found of relevance at his house, was an Xbox covered in blood with a game sticking out... I think I might give it a try when I get home.
