Bootleg Mario 64 Cartrige
"I am a great fan of Mario, but there's one game I love: Mario 64 (or Super Mario 64). So I went on eBay to buy a cartridge, and I found one, which was VERY cheap (like $2.00). I was suspicious. I started to think, after reading other creepypastas about haunted games that come with a very low price: "Maybe it's a haunted cartridge?". After some thinking, my mind said: "Buy that cartridge, creepypastas are fake bullshit". So I bought it. This "game" gave the words "scary" , "horrific" and "disgusting" a new meaning. The cartridge was a bootleg, which was 1 reason to think it's haunted. Then, the cartridge was blank, just "MARIO" written on it with a red Sharpie marker, no label, no nothing. And that's another reason. I was pretty curious for the game, I was like:"Oh man! A haunted cartridge... well that's interesting! Imm-a gonna buy it!".
I bought it, stuck it in the Nintendo and powered up the console. At first it was glitchy, so I shut off the console, blew into the cartridge and played it again. It worked. So everything was fine, when I got in the Bob-omb Battlefield. I came to a sign, that said:" UP TO KING". I thought: "This is a hacked bootleg, you know, bad translations..." but not even the Japanese version said to go up for the king. What I said now isn't scary, but after reading the sign, the sky turned black, and the bob-ombs turned in unreadable signs. So I killed enemies and all that, but then I came to the top of the mountain. The king was already on the floor, all glitchy, results like when you tilt the cartridgewhen playing. At this point I wanted to fight him, but all he said was:" MARIO NO KING 王はあなたのゲームのすべてを悩ませます。". Now I can't translate it, but I'm pretty sure he said something about haunting, or other shit like that. I kicked his ass, and when he died he exploded in a very gory bloodbath, with organs too. The star got affected by the blood too. Mario got blood on him too. When he got the star, he said something in Japanese, I thought it was something like "Here we goooo!" or "I got the star!". However, he said it in a very depressed tone, so it can't be that. Finds out, he said: " You sick bastard, you killed him! ". I said: "Man, those bootlegs are awesome". They are, but now the game gets fucked up, like all the other games. Toads were missing in the castle, EVERYTHING was missing in the castle. The castle was now just a blank room with paintings. That means I can beat the game now, since doors were gone. So I got to the endless stairs (which aren't there anymore). I found the portal that leads to Bowser, and toad corpses were there in every single detail! Mutilated, stabbed, strangled to death and every way of death you can think. I jumped in and HOLY FUCK. The level was all bloody, with corpses of enemies everywhere. Mario had a sad expression. If you fall on a platform, you would get bloody too. The blood platforms were slippery and just plain creepy. When I got to the part with wind before you enter the pipe, an image appeared, but it wasn't a flash. It stayed there for like 10 seconds. It was Mario, with a huge grin on his head. He was mutilated and decapitated. There was this weird japanese text written in a bloody font that said:" さらに行っていないか、死んでしまう。それが既にマリオに起こった、それはあなたに起こることがあります。あなたが停止しない場合は、マリオのゴーストが表示されます。". I entered the pipe. In the black screen "HELP", "BOWSER DEATH" and "MaRiO dIe" flashed.
I couldn't take it any more. It's not the worst haunted bootleg I have ever seen, but it had a morbid feeling. I was gonna push POWER, but then Bowser came. He said:" Mario, you are the only one that is alive. I already killed everybody, you are the only enemy I gotta kill". I pushed A and he said: " Now you're gonna die." Bowser killed Mario in one hit, and morbid images of Mario getting mutilated and decapitated were seen. Just like the picture before. After 20 seconds of this, the head of Mario opened his eye with a scream so loud, now I'm deaf. Then the game rebooted on the picture, staying still. I shut off the game. That image is still in my head. " This is what my friend wrote on his diary before dieing. I still think that he got killed by the cartridge, because he died the next day. Coincidence? I think NOT!
