Christmas

Most people can say that they have a few abnormal or weird people in their family, like a weird uncle or cousin. Well, that's nothing compared to my family.

When I was a kid, a lot of my family members would come over for Christmas. They all seemed a bit odd to me, and I know they must have been to my father too, because he clearly didn't like them. He would get angry with them when they came over, sometimes getting in big arguments almost resulting in violence.

After a while, our Christmas parties at my house became less and less crowded. I was told my family members died from car accidents, heart attacks, etc.

But now I know that they were all lies. I noticed something else over the years. Our Christmas dinners were also getting stranger.

Something tells me we didn't always eat turkey.
