Corrupted
I was at home playing some "Halo: Reach" when I got a PM from my friend, Kyle. He said that he got the copy of "Pokemon: Ruby" I wanted, but said the cartridge's label was missing. I told him to send it over anyway. The next day the box arrived and when I opened it the cartridge was fine, it look absolutly perfect, he must have been lying, because the label, box, and cartridge were in mint condition.
I hooked up my old Gamecube and used the Gameboy attatchment so I could play it on my TV. When I turned it on it did the whole block flip thing and the game started up. When my character Ash jumped out of the truck at the start he was pushed out by a Machoke and landed on his face. "What the hell?" I kept playing. The game flashed to a close up of Ash with a bloody nose. I had no idea what just happened. All I know is it was not the "Pokemon: Ruby" I remembered. When he went into the house, the walls were painted grey, the "worker" pokemon were in wierd armor and my "mom" was fine...
I got to the Lab and there was no one there only one pokeball, it was topped with red and it looked like it was "dripping" and when I picked it up it went to a battle scene where I was caught in the pokeball. Inside the pokeball was nothing, just me, it cut to another close up of Ash, and his eye were red, his bloody nose got worse and he was crying. I walked one step down and the lights flickered, and I was surrounded by Unown. They formed a box around me and Lavender Towns music played, looping as the Unown spun around me. The game constantly flashed and cut to Ash, smile getting bigger, blood pouring from his eye and nose more and more, and soon, the game cut to black. It faded to another close up of Ash, as a decaying corpes, laughing, a text box poped up saying, [Your save file has been corkgubf jsdbngu sjhgis gujshgf suhgg] and then it just showed Ash getting worse over time, and my TV turned itself off.
A week later I used my gameboy to try and play it again but the title screen showed Ash's corpes with red letters saying, "Pokemon: Blood Red"
