Crazy Love
The following is an extract from a diary uncovered at the scene of a triple murder-suicide, laying next to the body of its former owner - who had shot himself after killing a group of friends in his suburban home: investigations are still on-going as to the events leading up to the crime...

Love is often said to be one of the most turbulent emotions we can experience, some say that love and hate are closely linked - that all it takes is a slight change in circumstance to change unreasoning love into unbridled hatred..
I'm not really sure if I'm qualified enough to say either way, nearing my 25th birthday I can admit that I have yet to experience "love" - at least in the romantic sense of the word. I can already imagine a few people finding that rather amusing but hey, at least I'm honest here.
25 long years and I have yet to really understand love, though I guess I often find myself wondering if love even really exists.. maybe it really is just some made-up fantasy of an early age when everyone was expected to find that special someone and settle down in their little homes, surrounded by white fences and immaculate lawns.
Or maybe I'm just bitter and need to get out more, experience the world and actively start looking for love instead of expecting it to come to me.

My friends are already beginning to settle down and talk about how happy they all are, which seems so absurd, how can so many people be happy while I still have nothing?
It just isn't right. It isn't natural...
