Dodgy LeafGreen
Hi! I have written this on behalf of my cousin Tammy and she insists this really happened to her so I lets see what you think. This will be in Tammy's point of few.
It was just a few days after my birthday. I had a huge celebration and my brother had given me just what I wished for. Pokemon black 2 with a new 3DS XL. Anyway, I was bored that evening, my mum and dad were out, my brother at a club and my sister was at a friend's house.
I had already started Black 2 with a female Snivy called Myst (don't ask!) and now I was just training for the first gym so I was dead bored. I'm never allowed in my brother's room so since he was out, I decided to explore his room.
I knew where he kept all his hidden things, behind all his books on the bookshelf. I removed all the books and took a peek. It was mainly empty strangely but I spotted a small bag stuffed in the corner. Curiously, I picked it up and examined it. It looked like a brown paper bag where you put your packed lunches in for school expect written on it was DO NOT PLAY, in block capitals just like that. Even curiouser, I opened the packet and was greeted with a familiar sight. A Pokemon Leaf Green cartridge. I had Leaf Green myself but this one seemed strange.
I had no idea why since it looked like a perfectly normal cartridge but when I stroked my thumb across it, I shuddered . Curiosity got the better of me, I pulled out my old GameBoy Advance SP and shoved the game in. The game started normally, the gamefreak logo then the Nidorino and Gengar appeared fighting each over, no blood no gore just the original. The title screen was fine to. There was no save file so I started a new game.
I went through all the Professor Oak Blah Blah continuously pressing A till my finger was sore. I was female called Tammy and my rival was Blue.
It's when I actually got started, everything got weird. Instead of starting in Pallet Town, I was in Lavender Town. The music was the same theme except lower and slower.. I checked my trainer card. I was Tammy but I had no money and no badges. My sprite was not their just a blank spot with a dark circle at the bottom, supposedly my shadow.
I exited and checked my pack. No items. Then I checked my Pokemon, ghost. It had one attack, Kill. I didn't like this Pokemon but I couldn't get rid of it. My only Pokemon and no money to buy pokeballs. I went into the Pokemon center. The music cut off. No NPCs there, just Nurse Joy. I talked to her. "..." then she healed my ghost. She didn't bow, just stayed very still. I shook my head, this was just a sick hack done by some weirdo who had nothing better to do.
I went out of the Pokemon center. For some reason, there were no buildings apart from the Lavender tower right in the center and a ghostly white NPC standing next to it. I tried to get out of Lavender Town but the routes seemed blocked. Just a faint dun dun dun sound as I bumped against it. I felt my heart thudding as I realized that I'd have no other choice but to enter the tower..
First I spoke to the NPC, he said "Turn back now. Never enter. Run, while you have the chance.." He then disappeared. Chuckling to myself I thought, well, I tried but I can't. I entered the tower and the music stopped leaving it eerily silent. I shivered. I spoke it a single person standing in the middle of a group of tombstones. "Finally, fresh meat.." The NPC stepped forward. Without pressing a button, my character ran up the staircase. The room I was in was dark. Pitch Black...
I checked my Pokemon. Still Ghost. I tried to walk around but I was stuck. Just the dun dun dun sounded. Suddenly, a white light flashed across my screen, blinding me. I loud squealing noise erupted from my speakers. I grinned my teeth together trying to ignore the ear-splitting sound. The lavender town music played again except backwards. My ghost Pokemon dropped down. It looked straight at me. In huge red letters, it said "I know you Tammy. I know all about you. But you'll be no more.." The ghost came closer. "Please no.." I whispered shaking.
The screen went black. And then an Image showed up. It was my player character being devoured by this ghost. I screamed. The screen went black once more. Then a blood-curdling shriek emitted from my speakers. The GameBoy Advance SP slipped from my hands and clattered to the floor. The batteries came out shutting off the game. The cartridge fell out as well. I stamped on this still screaming. I chucked the remains out of the window.
