Dumped (Alternate Episode)
I'm sure everyone has heard of the episode Dumped. It's one of those Spongebob episodes where Patrick was very, very unlikable. And the story I'm about to tell is not going to be cheery nor happy. No, this isn't the bootleg tape that was found, this is an alternate version of the original episode. This all started 4 years ago when I found a tape in my mailbox that I didn't order. I was confused, and I didn't even have a VHS Player. So I decided to try and buy a VHS Player on Ebay, but I had no luck. I tried for weeks and weeks, but all to no avail. But after a while, I finally found one, and one that was in my price range too! So after a few days, I finally had a VHS Player to play the tape. I decided to see what the name of the tape was, and it had a piece of tape attached to it that said, "Dumped (Alternate Ending)". At the time, I thought that there was only the original episode, and the bootleg tape. But now we know that there's three of them in circulation. So the episode started as normal, normal intro, normal title card, normal everything for a while. Well, all until the part where the wood heart Spongebob built broke. Patrick made fun of Spongebob continuously for almost a minute. Then, Spongebob started to cry uncontrollably for the next 5 minutes. It kept occasionally flickering between Spongebob crying and Patrick mocking him. After that, what Spongebob did next truly horrified me. Spongebob ran to his kitchen to grab a Butcher Knife! At first, Patrick thought nothing of it, but then Spongebob started to approach him slowly, and Patrick realized what Spongebob was gonna do to him! Patrick continuously said, "I'm sorry Spongebob, I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry!" while weeping loudly. Spongebob cut Patrick off after saying that FIVE TIMES! When Spongebob cut Patrick off, he said, "It's too late to apologize now, Patrick! I'm going to MURDER YOU!". Patrick desperately tried to get Spongebob to reconsider what he was doing, but to no avail. Spongebob then swung the Knife at Patrick's head, decapitating him. Spongebob then proceded to rip his brain out. Then, the episode ended abruptly. I was utterly confused by what I had just seen, and I had so many questions in my head. Who made that version of Dumped? Who animated that scene at the end? I guess we'll never know. If you find a random VHS tape in your mailbox, I don't recommend watching it. If you do, then be my guest. I just don't recommend it.
