Encanto: The Killer

The Santa Marias, a family in the Philippines, were casually going to watch the recent Disney movie Encanto on the TV channel ABS-CBN's Kapamilya Blockbusters block. If you're wondering, Encanto is a movie about a Colombian family with magic powers (save for one member, Mirabel) who live in a sentient, magical house during the post-colonial era.

They prepared some popcorn and soda, and turned off the lights, but they found out something would go wrong. Very wrong.

The Movie

The movie started off as anticipated, with the opening, the first minutes, even the famous "We don't talk about Bruno" song, and then the climax where the Casita collapses due to an argument, and the Madrigals lose not just their home, but their powers.

This was temporary, for a musical number saw the Madrigals rebuild the Casita, and its magic being restored. But something else was temporary too. It was the happy atmosphere that would be cut short once this happened...

The Killer Arrives

Towards what could've been the end, the new family picture was ripped apart by a pair of unknown hands. An unseen figure, concealed within black clothing and a faceless white mask, was making his way to the rebuilt Casita. With weapons in hand, he snuck inside the magical house.

The Casita didn't notice, even though it was sentient, because it was asleep along with the other Madrigal members. That is until the killer snuck into Mirabel's room and bludgeoned her to death, awakening the house and trying to stop the killer by throwing him off the ledge near the room. His mask fell off in the process, but there was no glimpse of the killer's true face yet.

The Rampage

He put his mask back on after falling, and then proceeded to go upstairs to Isabel's room anyway where the killer stabbed her until she dropped dead. Then he proceeded to hack we don't talk about Bruno with an axe, killing him. Finally he beheaded Alma with his knife and mutilated Luisa with the axe, but to end his rampage without having to shed too much blood, he proceeded to pour a mix of gasoline and kerosene onto the floor of the Casita.

After setting a bottle of the leftover petrol ablaze with a lit match, the resulting fire ripped through the helpless Casita, trapping the rest of the Madrigals inside and killing them. The killer fled the burning Casita and took off his white mask. That was when everyone started pooping in their pants, for it was Sonic.EXE who was the culprit. Then the screen faded to static as Sonic.EXE's red eyes stared deep into the family's souls.

Aftermath

The entire family were shocked. That night, they had the same nightmare of them suffering the same fate as the Madrigals.

So they never watched Encanto again.
