Evangelion in a Petersonian Sense

I think Evangelion is the most Jordan Peterson story ever. He'd talk a lot about the larger then life, archetypal story, about the Heroes Journey, Jung and Freudian psychology, a lot of stuff about Shinji and Gendo. Lot of talking about how battling the Angels is carrying a great burden and taking responsibility for meaning. He'd go on forever about what the endings mean, probably cry (In a good way) about how it represents them taking some meaning and responsibility in their lives. He'd make some pretty good psycho analysis of the characters. Probably a lot of focus on the Pilots, he'd look at Kaworu very archetypally as a Jesus analog, but he'd also look at Shinji as a Christ messiah analog.

I unironically think Shinji would benefit from Jordan Peterson. A lot of people in Peterson's audience are typically young men with none to little influence from their fathers, who are aimless, depressed, and self pitying, unable to grow up and escape from the world. Peterson's advice would resonate pretty well with Shinji, who is his exact demographic. Shinji was a young boy who needed someone to call him out, get him to get his act together compassionately yet sternly. He'd and the other Pilots (And most of the characters honesty) would benefit from Jordan's advice.

In conclusion I think Jordan Peterson would love Evangelion, from the characters, to the story, to the message and themes.
