Experiment 41

A facility in a remote part of Russia was found today with all entrances locked, the soldiers assigned to this particular patrol used a crowbar to pry one of the entrances open. Once they came in they immediately called to be brought back. When they were brought in they showed signs of having seen something horrible, they were stressed and paranoid beyond all means. We questioned one of the soldiers and he told us what he saw "It was like a slaughterhouse in there, there was blood and flesh and organs everywhere and the most messed up thing is that we knew that all that came from humans!! What kind of creature or thing could do such an act!?" The soldiers were sent home and honorably discharged from duty.. A squad of soldiers and a few scientists were sent out to the facility to investigate the claims and when they got there it was just as the soldier had described and more. Despite all these grisly things they continued investigating, In the back in a locked room they found a shattered window, a box of pictures, and a journal that appeared to belong to a scientist. What was translated from the journal can be found below.

I hope that humanity can forgive me for what my fellow scientists and I have done, we had no idea this would happen, how intelligent and deadly it would become. I can still hear their screams, their cries for help as they 're ripped, devoured, and sliced limb from limb. I pray that I can escape before it finally gets to my door. Where to begin? I suppose I should start where it truly began back before we entered this facility and created that creature that can only ever be called Experiment 41.
I was a very successful scientist within the Soviet Union credited with carrying out some of their most successful secret experiments, so I wasn't surprised when they called me in five years ago about a new project. They told me that I would work alongside 100 other scientists to create a soldier that would revolutionize the war, they wanted me to help create a super soldier. I didn't care what they wanted, as long as I got paid I would say nothing and do my job. They brought me along with 100 others to a facility in a remote part of Russia to create a super soldier by any means necessary. We were given a constant stream of humans to experiment on, we had all already experimented on humans before but still those screams and shouts begging us to stop will never leave me if I survive this. With heavy hearts and earplugs we did our job and for 4 years we experimented constantly resulting in many failed experiments which either died quickly or we put down ourselves. Around the 5th year we finally created it on our 41st experiment. We had taken the DNA of a Spider, a Scorpion, a Starfish, and a Tiger and successfully spliced it with one of the humans we were given and what became of our experiment was a man with the tail of a scorpion, the claws of a tiger, the abilities and head of a spider, and the regenerative capabilities of a starfish. We had created both a Super Soldier and what would be our total annihilation.
We began training this thing almost immediately, we taught it everything about war, killing, and fighting and trained it in many different kinds of weaponry, we were surprised at how fast it learned and that ended up being our greatest mistake when we didn't kill it right then and there. We were baffled at how intelligent and deadly with weaponry it became and we were proud of something that to all 101 of us was like our child. That's when it all went downhill and when all this began.
One day a lone scientist was conducting a routine medical checkup on Experiment 41 and the experiment asked him a question that was the beginning of our end. "What was I made for?" The scientist cocked his eyebrow at Experment 41 and answered "To win wars and to revolutionize killing" Experiment 41 seemed to contemplate this and seemed to smile "I was made to kill?" The scientist confirmed what he asked and then it let out a horrible noise that sounded like maniacal laughter. "Then I shall kill like I was made to do!!" It moved quicker than we ever thought it could and ripped the scientist to shreds before devouring him. We quickly tried to restrain it but it killed 10 more as we tried ripping them into shreds and devouring them like the first scientist. I've barricaded myself in my office by this point.... I can hear the other's screams as they're hunted down one by one. I won't be a victim, Im taking my gun and escaping through the window in my office. Whoever finds this journal, Monsters do exist, look in a mirror, one of them will be staring right back at you.

This is where the journal ends, They reported a trail of blood leading into the forest from an entrance that looked like it was smashed in. No further investigation was carried out and all units returned to base. In the box that was brought back most of the pictures were far too damaged to make out but one picture was found intact with a simple caption on it. It appeared to be the Experiment 41 and it was far more horrific than what was thought, the journal, the picture and this document are to have the highest level of classification.
