Five Nights at Fabios 4: Intermission
January 17th, 2004
The Moon's light shines through your window, and into your now sensitive eyes. It wasn't helping that you had a fifteen page document to show in court the next day. Your name is Van Slick, a detective determined to solve the mysteries of the now old, desolate building. You look ever so carefully into the moon, trying to readjust your eyes. You recognize the iconic smiling face, and smirk back, as if it were real. You yawned, then reaching for your fresh cup of coffee you'd made earlier.
You were on your way to an old friend's house. His name was John, he used to work at "Fabio's Fright: The Horror Attraction" he needed some supporting evidence for his case. It was pretty evident that the police had stopped showing interest, the previous detective screwed it all up, almost as if it were all scripted. You nod your head in agreement with yourself, as you continue to drive down on your way to the next exit.
The streets remained empty for most of the night, the place had a creepy vibe, almost as if you were being watched. About twenty minutes into your journey, a car passed yours, but something caught your eyes. The driver seemed to be a giant Hippo, with a hat on backwards, looking directly at him. Then it hit you, it was Fabio!
January 18th, 2004.
You managed to snap a quick photo of the "being" you saw the night prior. You had real evidence, you felt proud of yourself. You sat down in the courtroom, and took a deep breath, looking up at the ceiling. You looked back down, and saw a man in orange attire, walk into the room. He was the suspect. "Could it be? The "real" killer?" You thought to yourself, staring at the man. "It couldn't of been, what about the Hippo?"
The case had started, and it was your turn to present evidence. You stood up, straightening your suit. "Ladies, and Gentlefish... I mean men, here is some evidence." You said in a proud voice. The audience gasped. "I believe this is the real suspect, and this man right here, is not guilty!" You stated. You got a vibe from the audience, a good one, they all believed you!
"I find the defendant, not guilty" ruled the judge. You were dismissed. "Great job out there man!" a voice said from behind. You looked behind and saw a heavier man, dressed in fancy attire walk up to you. "Well, I tried my best, without the evidence we could've forgotten this whole case!" You replied. "Well, I gotta' catch a bus so, uh... Patrix" the man began to scream, and then fall on the ground. "Must have been to many paint chips!" you thought to yourself.
January 19th, 2004
The sound of thunder outside made you uneasy, the power was out, and you lived in a basically abandoned part of town. You were upstairs in your old farmhouse, peering outside the window, making sure there were no unexpected "visitors" coming over. You had a double barrel shotgun next to you, and a battery powered radio to keep you company, so it wasn't all bad.
You looked down, then back outside. You heart dropped, you saw a large hippo outside, standing in a grass field. He didn't notice you though, you began frantically searching around for anything to possibly hide with, no way you were confronting that thing.
You looked outside your window again, it was gone. You began to panic, searching for a phone. You stopped in your tracks when you heard the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs. You ran, and hid underneath your bed. Then, humming began to play, getting louder and louder! Your mind began flooding with different scenarios! You began sweating the palm of your hand feeling like it was submersed in lava! You clenched your gun in your hands, getting ready, but then it all stopped. No footsteps, no humming, nothing.
You then realized that the phone was downstairs, the only one in the house in fact. You saw your doorknob begin to turn, and then open! The sweating started again, you saw a large hippo foot enter the room, screaming at the top of its lungs, smashing the window you were looking out of. "I want you to die, and I want some McDonald's Chocolate Milk!" It yelled! It ran out of the room, and stormed into the next one over to the right.
This was your only chance to get downstairs, you ran out of the room, and downstairs. You reached the kitchen where the phone allegedly was. It wasn't there, you then remembered it was in the basement, you ran down to the basement, and grasped the phone! the screaming started again, and the sound of footsteps going down stairs was faster now!
You hid in between to large boxes, and hoped for the best. You peered out of a small crack, and saw a hippo, with sharp claws, and a dreadful smile, organs hung from its now decaying teeth, and an intense odor filled the room. You silently gagged. It just stood there.
Finally, after what seemed forever, it left, and went upstairs. You stood up, brushing yourself off. The only exit was out of the window. You carefully opened the window, and made your way outside. Halfway there, a hand grabbed at your leg. It was Fabio! you kicked, and screamed trying to loosen its painfully tight grip but nothing worked! You finally were able to make your way outside. Fabio screamed, and ran back upstairs!
It was only a matter of time before Fabio made it outside. You dialed 911, and cautiously made your way to the back of the house.
"911, what's your emergency?" the operator said.
"I need help, there's someone after me!" You whispered.
-footsteps- "Shhh!" you whispered again.
"Stay calm we'll be right over, it'll take some time though.
You ran, and jumped into a large bush near your backyard.
"Where are you?" Fabio screamed.
"I Will find you!" Fabio Screamed once more.
"I am not who you think I am" He stated.
"I am a descendant of the evil lord Gaben" He explained
You began to panic, "when were these cops going to show up!" you thought! The sound of police sirens began to get louder, and louder. You revealed yourself, Fabio let out a sickening laugh. "I guess this is it isn't it?" He stated. "I will get my revenge, and me and Gaben will take over the universe!" He then said.
"I know it's not over, but lord Gaben is!" You said, then walking away.
"I'll see you in Hell" Fabio screamed.
