Flashing.exe

I recently downloaded Camstudio, a desktop recorder. It seemed legit, and there are a lot of videos with people using it. As soon as it finished downloading, i tested it. I messed around with the settings until i was ready to record. When i started to record, it seemed to work. But it was a little laggy. I kept messing with the settings a little bit more, and i noticed a weird option that said, "End flashing". I had no idea what that meant, but i clicket it. Then my computer started flashing different colors. I paniced for a moment and restarted my computer. When it rebooted, i went on Google Chrome and typed in, "camstudio flashing". Some links popped up and i clicked one. The article said this.

"There have been reports of epileptic seizures caused from the flashing. There have also been reports of mental issues, nightmares, and lack of sleep."

I have to admit i chuckled at, "lack of sleep". But this was serious, what could possibly happen from the flashing? I understood the seizure part, but how could you get nightmares? I did a little more research and i found a chat room full of people who have experienced the flashing. Here is what i learned.

Aparently one person had a nightmare about getting ripped into shreds by a mysterious figure. Some have heard a strange voice calling their names. I found this extremely frightening

While i was doing my research, i heard a voice calling MY NAME. When I turned around, I saw someone in my window for half a second. That was when i got scared. When i turned around to continue my research, a strange chat request appeared on my computer. Being the FREAKING DUMBASS I AM I accepted it. this is the conversation that happened.

portalfan (me): Hello?

TheCreator: WHY DID YOU PRESS IT?

portalfan: what?

TheCreator: Flashing.exe, there is no decline

portalfan: who are you?

TheCreator: No decline my friend, no decline

(TheCreator has left the chatroom)

I had no idea who TheCreator was, but i did more research. There were also reports of people getting emails from an anonymous user. The user only gave his innitials, TC.

Whoa, this was getting freaky. Flashing.exe. I think that was the "End flashing" option. I went to open up Camstudio, but i was interrupted by a noise. I got an email. It said this

"He's coming, you can't hide. You can only run. -Anonymous"

I was completely terrified now. I think TheCreator might have been someone involved in the making of Camstudio. If there was more than one person involved in the making. It was 1:59 AM, so i needed to get some sleep. I couldn't sleep that night. There was a voice calling my name. But the next morning, i did more research

It's been awhile since everything has happened. I hope I will be able to sleep one day, and not see a dark figure at the end of my bed every night......
