Ghetsis' Bind

After a while, I had forgotten a bit about that hacked version of Pokemon Black. I had finally bought an English copy of Black to go with my Japanese copy, but still something is still bothering me. What became of that game. People in my school had been talking about that game being passed on over and over again, but always never knew who had possession of that game. Actually, a week ago I went searching for that game, but the story stayed the same. Everyone was passing it on and nobody knew who had it last. Not even my friend who originally had it, and I even hear him talk about people passing it on.

During a school day, I went to my next class for gym to play some Volley Ball. I went to talk to one of my other friends and when I managed to he said, "Hey Frank."

"Hey (I'm not using other names in this story). How's it going?"

"Things are good. By the way..." As he said that sentence, he went into his pocket and pulled out a copy of Pokemon White.

I was astonished he had a Pokemon game, yet I never knew he liked the franchise. "I found this game in the hallway. And well I don't have a DS, so you wanna hold on to it till I get one?"

I said, "sure" and took the game. I was interested in playing White since I have only played though Black. Although I found it uncanny that my friend found a copy of White knowing that the hacked Black game is still roaming around...

As soon as I got home, I put in the copy of White, but the weird thing was there was no volume. The game was muted and I couldn't change it. I tossed that problem to the side and pressed start. I heard Zekrom's cry like you would in Black but with Reshiram and noticed only the new game option was on the screen. I commenced with the game and the first option was to choose a boy or girl. I choose boy and entered my name. After that the game instantly had me at the Relic Castle. I was in Volcarona's small room and a sprite of Ghetsis was their in Volcarona's place. I instantly knew I was dealing with a hacked game again. But where did this game come from? I figured also that this game may not be too different from the Black game. I mean even Ghetsis's over-world sprite was a different color like N. But strangely enough, not inverted. I went to talk to him, and only this text showed up, "..."

A battle commenced and the following text appeared.

"Demon Father Ghetsis wants to fight!"

Demon Father Ghetsis. Talk about a fitting name. I mean come on! In the end of the 5th gen games, he acts like a total jerk to his son. I would be afraid of his appearance, but I was too filled with joy of battling him, I just wanna give him some payback for N.

So pretty much at this point Ghetsis brings out a Shiny Genesect level 100, and weird enough was nicknamed GENOCIDE. Out of shock, I couldn't believe who came out to my side. VICTORY, the Victini level 100 was in this game too! Although this time, Victini was Shiny, I knew that whoever hacked Black, hacked this copy of Pokemon white, and that was clear enough to me. I started the battle.

"VICTORY used Endure!"

"GENOCIDE used Explosion!"

"VICTORY's in pain..."

"GENOCIDE is breaking down..." With that text, the Genesect was now appearing to bleed black and motionless. Oil probably. And I guess that since Genesect has still not left the field, Victini still needed to attack. The only move Victini had in its set was now Final Gambit. When I selected the move, a text appeared.

"VICTORY is begging you not to use that move!"

The attack menu came back with only Final Gambit still as the only move. I selected it again and this text showed up.

"VICTORY is crying out no!"

Once more the move showed up. No other options left, I pressed it.

"VICTORY used Final Gambit!"

"GENOCIDE has fallen apart..."

The motionless Genesect sprite head fell off the body as what appeared to be oil starting to flow from the decapitated Genesect as a new text came up.

"VICTORY is covered in blood!

It's crying out to you..."

Genesect is then called back and Ghetsis's sprite comes in. "Ghetsis: ... I am king..." is what Ghetsis is saying as the screen goes back to Volcarona's room. Ghetsis is gone now, and the main character sprite was inverted. A sprite of a Victini was by me as it guided my character out the room. In the next room of this maze the door ways were gone other then the one to the right. The Victini sprite was saying, "VICTORY: Get me out please..." The Victini sprite went behind me and as I walk, the Victini was leaving a trail of Genesect's oily blood... As I hit the staircase room, a sprite of one of the Seven Sages blocked the stairs. When I spoke to him, he also had "..." and then vanished. I went up the stairs and met the five other Sages. Each time I went up the stairs, the room would get brighter and brighter. On the last room before the main entrance, I was literally walking around the room blind. I finally managed to seek out the last staircase to see me at N's castle entrance. The castle was in Black and White as six of the Seven Sages were standing their. Where they stood was above a puddle of black blood. Victini was still following me but when we got the steps, a battle broke out.

"GENOCIDE returned..."

The bleeding Genesect came back and Victini entered the battle.

"VICTORY wants to turn back!"

"GENOCIDE used Lock-on"

"VICTORY ran to your side in fear..."

"GENOCIDE is snickering sinisterly."

"VICTORY's is crying!"

I finally had the menu up from all those text popping up and down. That poor Pokemon. I tried to select Run. When I did, it said.

"Sages are blocking you!"

I was at the menu again and found a Full Restore in the item bag. When I used the only item, this text came up.

"VICTORY can't use the item!"

"GENOCIDE used Zap Cannon!"

"VICTORY has fainted!"

The match fades out back to the castle as the Genesect over world sprite appeared to be dragging the Victini sprite away leaving another trail of black blood... The character sprite instantly ran to the Genesect as the six sages cut me off... I was watching as the Victini and Genesect vanished. A random sage then said, "VICTORY has been used as a tribute..." I then went it the direction of the trail of black blood and followed it into the child N's room. The Victini was on the half-pipe. N was there staring at it and said.

"N: My father did this right?

But why?

Why does he want this!?

...

Take this and avenge VICTORY..."

"Obtained DEATH!"

My heart froze for a moment... I checked the stats page and saw Zoroark from the hacked Black game. I was now using the very same Pokemon that I fought in Black. As I closed the menu. N said, "please... End this pain..." I now was heading up to the throne room were Ghetsis was waiting. I went up to him and a text box came up.

"Ghetsis: So my worthless son is against me.

After I finish you, I teach that miserable excuse of a son a lesson.

He's suppose to be king...

I WORKED TOO HARD TO GIVE THAT POWER UP!!!

WHEN HE SUMMONS RESHIRAM AND ZEKROM, I'LL RULE ALL WITH AN IRON FIST!!!

A battle commenced. And he sent out a blood covered Genesect in a normal sprite named REBORN. A text appeared, "Ghetsis: REBORN has killed VICTORY... Now... It'll kill you!" DEATH the Zoroark came out. I then had Zoroark use Flamethrower.

Another text appeared. "REBORN is Dissolving!"

"Ghetsis: NO!!! I won't stand for this!"

I was now panicking as that text appeared! I tried to switch the power button off and this text came up, "Ghetsis: No more running!"

The game was literally preventing me from turning the DS off! I couldn't eject the cartridge! My god I WAS STUCK PLAYING THIS DAMN GAME!!!

"Reborn used Self-Destruct!"

The game went black. Then after a short time passed, the screen came up and Ghetsis was laughing.

"Ghetsis: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Finally...

I have control..

I have power...

I HAVE IT!!!..."

Screen cute black again. And then a text appeared in the dark screen. "N: What have you done... I'll... I'll! I'LL END you!!!" "Ghetsis: GAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" I actually heard the screech echo from the game as the game ejected itself. I was freaked out from playing this game for only an hour... When I plugged in the game again, I noticed I was able to eject and put it in normally now. Why couldn't I when I was playing...? Well. I established the fact that these hacked Black and White games were made in a pair. But by who. I actually was observing the cartridge as I noticed there were scratches when I rubbed against the label. I took off the sticker and saw that the face of the image was carved with "Ghetsis's Bind"... This had me thinking. Should I pass this game on, or should I keep it. I called up my friend and told him that the game was defected. He said I could keep it in that case. Now that I had this copy.

I put it in a tin resting on my computer table. Then the next few days, I went searching in school one more time for the hacked Black game. Then luck finally struck me as someone across the street from my school tossed it across the street near my friend who originally had it. Thankfully the game didn't break...

He was nervous to pick it up but I went up to him and said, "I'll take that."

"But you know that game is messed up man... I think messing with it is a bad idea."

"But keeping it away from others is a better idea." I walked off after that sentence and went home. I was curious to if this game had been named under the label too. As I took the sticker off. I saw the game was named...

N's Rage...
