GoAnimate
It seemed like a normal day in my room. I looked through my computer, then I saw something that caught my eye. It was a website called GoAnimate. I got interested in that. So, I clicked on the website, and it showed up. It looked almost like the official website, except it was only non-business themes. Perhaps maybe it was fan made. Then I noticed something on the GoAnimate website. There was some red text that said, "DON'T TRY IT." I thought to myself, "Don't try what?" I thought it would be just a prank, but I shrugged it off and started fiddling around with the video maker.
After fiddling around with the themes, I clicked on Comedy World, and the loading screen lasted about a minute and a half. The default background was the bedroom, but I noticed that the bedroom was dirty for example, with fading wallpaper on it. The bed was covered in blood, which it looked real, and the picture frames were dirtier, some sort of stain on it.
My computer kept going. The background was pitch black as well, and the graphics were just flashing pixels. It was like a horror movie, but I shrugged it off and kept on using it.
I started to click one of the characters. The GoAnimate Character I picked was the Red Hoodie Guy. When I made the Red Hoodie Guy talk, he wouldn't talk. I had to use Text to Speech to make the Red Hoodie Guy talk. The GoAnimate Voice I used was the David voice. I started typing something, but it wouldn't speak.
When I let go of my mouse, the Text to Speech voice talked so fast like it was talking in tongues. Whoa, I've never seen Text to Speech talk fast before. I couldn't even make out what the voice was saying. Then my computer just stopped. It was frozen. I was frozen. Then I got the blue screen of death. I got freaked out.
Then, I heard a slow logo sting noise. I couldn't get up because I was so scared. Then, my room just started flashing on and off. I wanted to get out of my room, but for some reason, I couldn't, the flashing kept going. After the flashing, the power was back on. I was relieved, I thought that maybe it was going to be a blackout.
Just then, I noticed my room was covered in red liquid. It was blood. The words "Found you" popped up on the screen. And then at the moment, a picture of my young self appeared, and it was black and white. Then slowly it started to melt off the screen. I felt shocked of seeing that. Then the GoAnimate logo rose up slowly as if someone was lifting it. Then it slammed on the ground as if someone was dropping it. All of a sudden, a GoAnimate Character popped up and screamed at me. It was gut twisting. The screaming was realistic that it was taken from a real human screaming.
Just then, I heard the Acid Jazz Music play out in the hallway, followed by evil laughter. I looked behind my computer, and there was a note tape to it. I picked up the note tape and it read in hard to read cursive handwriting: "You're Next." I was freaked out when I saw that. Suddenly, my computer just turned on by itself some seconds later, thinking it started working again.
I was back to the GoAnimate website. There were no icons, but this time, the Red Hoodie Guy was walking on his own, along with PC Guy. This has got to be the strangest thing I ever witnessed. Then I had no choice but to close the website and tell my friends about this. They thought I was insane. They thought I was joking. Why would they think that? Why?
