Good Morning

Good Morning

Today I received a letter in the mail today. There was no return address, which kind of worried me, but not too much. The thing that creeped me out was what was in the letter. It looked as if it were written many years ago because the letters were fading. The letter read:

Dear Mr. Johnston

You're too late...

That was the end of the letter. Attached to it was an SD card. I decided that there would be no harm in plugging it into my computer, but I was wrong...Dead wrong. When I plugged it in, I saw the only file was titled Morning.wmv. I decided to play it...that was a huge mistake.

It started off with a choppy animation that said on the title screen: GOOD Morning. It showed a little boy that seemed rather sad. Then he just walked for five minutes while distorted music was playing. When the boy finally looked up, he had shaggy bangs covering his eyes. He lifted them up, revealing red, bloodshot eyes as he whispered, "good morning." His voice sounded as if he were dead. Then he opened his mouth wide and jumped toward the camera. The video went black for five minutes as the music grew louder and louder.

Then the scene moved on to the boy's eyes looking at the camera, but it was not an animation this time, it was real. By then I slammed my laptop shut and ran out of the room. While I was sleeping, I kept on hearing, "good morning" in my head. The next day, I decided to play the song in reverse. It sounded like somebody was screaming, "GET ME OUT". Later that night when I was getting ready for bed, I saw my eyes were bloodshot in the mirror. Then my reflection opened its mouth wide and then all I saw was darkness.
