"Curiosity killed the cat", Believe it or not this phrase is very important to the plot of this story, you'll see.

I have always loved horror, reading creepypastas online about haunted games and lost episodes, obviously I was scared mostly at night but as soon as I started looking for more scary things to read it was like all my worries were gone. My favorite thing to do was reading about lost episodes, I loved the concept of episodes that were never released because of graphic scenes, of course non of them was actually real but it was still nice to experience them but one day in November 2018 the dream I always wanted came true and to this day I regret it,

i was chatting with a friend of mine, we talked a lot about some very stupid things things, It rolled into talking about creepypastas so I stated my opinion on lost episodes and my friend told me when he was on the dark Web for whatever reason he saw a lot of things he didn't wanted to see but in a certain forum there was a lottery for certain lost episodes, we both knew it was definitely a scam because all lost episodes were poorly made by fans on the internet. I wanted to see what all the hype was about so i logged to the dark web fro what my friend told me and searched "lost episodes".

there were a lot of false forums that spread over 30 search pages, later i found the famous forum my friend told me about and clicked it. there was a lottery about a lost spongebob episode called "happiness under the sea", there were 250 people i think that signed for the lottery so i signed to because my dumbass curiosity took over my body, the duration of the lottery was a week and I entered exactly in the last 20 minutes. long story short I won.

The admin send me a ZIP folder titled "lost-episode.zip", i was afraid to click it because you can't expect anything good from someone from the dark Web, i said "well here goes nothing" and clicked it, luckily no viruses were hidden there though inside was a 22 minutes long video called "happiness-under-the-sea.video", i clicked it and I saw a warning that viewing this episode is for testing purposes only and this episode never been broadcast and will not be broadcast, and than the episode started with something I didn't expect: It was a black and white presentation about a guy explaining how to entertain the children in case of a nuclear bomb, that was the point I realized it was a real episode that didn't air around the first season because after the presentation was over the guy gave examples to entertain the kids featuring an episode of SpongeBob with the same topic.

the episode begins with the normal intro, nothing weird there except poor resolution of the 90s but that was normal, the title card appeared with the episode's name "happiness under the sea", what's weird is instead of the usual credits was the US government logo, the episode started with spongebob watching tv Suddenly there was a TV ad about a nuclear bomb that was going to reach Bikini Bottom with an hour, It was stated that for the safety of the residents, they should seek refuge and hide there until everything is over,

The episode went to the krusty krab where lots of fish bought krabby patties for their food supply, there was real chaos there while Mr. krabs Swimmed in a pile of money. the episode was cut to the french narrator saying "1 hour later", spongebob, patrick, sqidward and Mr. krabs sitting in a dark shelter under the krusty krab with a faint light from a candle (It is important to note that these were indeed the real voice actors of those characters), the episode was cut to a short video in which a certain lab sends nuclear missiles to a sea area called Bikini Atoll, It literally showed the missiles penetrating into the sea and you can hear the whole area exploding again and again by the missiles. the episode was cut to a scene where you can see all bikini bottom ruined, you can also see in the background real bones of fish which did not make sense because the whole episode was drawn.

The episode was cut to its final scene where a sponge, starfish, octopus and crab are seen lying dead next to each other in the gloomy gray background of the ruined sea and the quiet yet unsettling music while the episode ended...
