Have I truly become a monster?

Today I have had a bad day, It was very snowy outside, and I was inside my home, trying to get my television to work but it would not budge, so I did something irrational and broke it by punching it, and then I went over to get my bat and when I did, I heard footsteps across my roof, then coming down the chimney, It was Santa clause, I said what out of confusion, and he just stared at me, then he gave me two choices, that I can be either a saint or a Grinch, then he just faded away, and in the brief moment I chose to be a Grinch, but now I feel pity and regret for my decision, I might go out into the park without hesitation or something.
