His Continuation

Several months have passed since my encounter with Ben. I don't know what he wants from me. He follows me everywhere. At school, in my dreams, you name it. He's driven me to complete insanity. I don't know how much more I can take of this torture.

For those who don't know, my name is Derick. I'm a mere 7th grader haunted by the stalking statue. I use an emulator and a screen recorder to show you what's happening to me. He still talks to me with that stupid Cleverbot site every once in a while. He still fucks with me when I'm playing Majora's Mask. What is his deal!? What does he want from me?!

After I left the first time, I went to play Majora's Mask again. I was greeted with a Happy Mask Salesman laugh before I was met with the 2 files that started it all: "HELP" and "ME". Once again trembling in fear, I clicked "ME" this time. As a fragment of BLOODBATHEDYOU.wmv played for a few seconds, I was warped inside of East Clock Town. There was only an eerie silence as I examined the what was once happy plaza. This time it was totally blank. No guards, no little kids, nobody. A sort of wave seemed to rush against my head as I fell dizzy. That didn't stop me from playing though. Nervously, I ran around as if Link were screaming for help. Just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, the most horrid thing happened. A familiar looking face appeared right behind me with its blank stare and horrific smile.

I wasn't as freaked considering I've seen this before, not only in Jad's videos, but my own experience. I scuttled over to the safest place possible... needless to say I failed. By the time I arrived, I was lifted and killed. No fire or electricity, just regularly. Then the game threw me out.

The place I ran to was the bomb shop with the Goron selling powder kegs. Nobody was there. I felt alone (probably because I was) and horrified. I just didn't like where this was going.

When I returned, I was met with "ONCEAGAI" and "NDERICK?". Dumbfounded, I tried figuring out what this meant. It should have been obvious from the start! I deciphered "Once again, Derick?" and just sat there for about 25 minutes frozen in tremendous fear.

I chose the "ONCEAGAI" file. Nothing happened and the file disappeared. I chose "NDERICK?". Nothing happened. I sat there for 2 minutes pressing buttons with nothing happening. Then it created a file for itself. It named itself "MOON". Hoping this would mean something else, I chose it.

Just as I had expected, I was inside of the moon where the moon children reside... except no children. I just kinda wondered around until I decided maybe I needed a mask. I put on the Deku mask and I was lit on fire. I put on the Zora mask and I was electrocuted. For some reason it let me put on my Deity mask, so I put it on. I was attacked with a series of... let me just put it to you like this. I was thrown into the air and beaten senseless by the air. When it finally stopped, I put on the Goron's mask. I was once again thrown just like in my video "CANTSWIM.wmv". When the Goron FINALLY got off its lazy ass, I took it off. I wanted to leave. I wanted to get out of this place! Then, oddly enough, I found comfort in this face. Ben spawned behind me. I don't know why this gave me anything at all! I wondered around it for a minute before being kicked out to the title screen. Not the menu selection, the title. But this time the mask didn't come towards me. It showed Link start running straight forward for a few minutes before randomly jumping. It pressed start FOR me right as Link was about to jump off.

Not only did this never in a million years happen to me, but I was also creeped the hell out. One file sat there eerily. It read the chilling word of ages. "DEATH". I've literally had it. I tried creating my own file, but to no avail it just canceled itself out. No matter how many times I tried, I found that it wouldn't let me create my own files. Hesitating heavily, I just chose the file. It lead me to the little cave where you meet Sharp the ghost. Hoping for me just to not be alone, I moved forward to be encountered with him. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. His message was distorted. I played the Song of Time, but it would either tell me I couldn't or it would exit out for me. I've had enough of this bullshit. I shut off the game.

Lately I've been having strange dreams. I've only seen Gibdos and Garos lately. No sign of Ben at all. Has it happened? Has he vanished? Apparently not. I woke at 4:23am to find a dark image in front of my face. It looked like him. I turned on the lights to find---

I had this urge to play. I walked out of my room, turned on my computer, started the emulator, and found Link running again. I found that I could skip this sequence. I was met with the 2 files: "YOU'VE" and "AWOKEN". How did it know I woke up? I looked at my watch and found that it read 4:23. Hasn't it been at least 5 minutes? Or has Ben frozen time somehow? The file "YOU'VE" deleted itself and a new file was created. "423". I chose it and was met with a flashing face of him. The Song of Unhealing played.

Several days have passed and I haven't dared go near my computer. He's inside of it now. At one moment I could just be on cleverbot having a conversation about fruit or something and then it will just randomly say "Play the game or you will meet with a terrible fate". I don't know whether this is a glitch or something but I was just too creeped out. I couldn't leave my chair. He's using my computer to haunt me. He doesn't mess with my family, thank goodness. I'm writing to you guys from a public computer, so I know I'm safe. When I get home, I'm going to see if I can go on roblox without it closing on me and opening project 64.

It had been nine months and I still have no clue where he went. He just up and didn't screw with me anymore. I find it really bizarre... as if he's plotting something... I don't know what he's up to, but its creeping me the hell out and I'm afraid to open any of my roms. Even my Gameboy rom for Pokémon FireRed to do some research on Lavender Town. Oh, and before I somehow miraculously forget, let me jot this down real quick.

The day before I stopped playing with BEN, I was on my Majora's Mask rom. I was just doing my own thing on my old Derick file that BEN said I could finish before he screwed with me again. But upon playing, the game randomly glitched out and took me into the file select. In file one: the words I VANISH appeared. In file two, my Derick file. It seemed like BEN got so tired of waiting for me to finish Great Bay that he just left. It seemed really odd. Judging from my experience, that didn't seem very much like him. I was reluctant. At the time I was happy he was gone. When I chose my file, it left me at the exact frame I was at before it glitched itself. I then resumed the quest for Lulu's eggs.

Today I was in school. In my P.E. class. Everyone knows how painful that is. We ran laps around a field twice. This was a very large field too. I nearly collapsed in the middle of it and several people rushed over to coax me. When I finally became aware of what was going on, a kid who I had never seen before (and for some reason looked a lot like BEN) leaned over my face and said "you shouldn't have done that..." and smiled like that creepy salesman. He had shiny red hair that was somewhat nicely combed compared to how everyone else looked. The boy also said "it would have been a shame if you... drowned... in your own sweat... wouldn't it...?" I looked behind me at the large landscape field behind me and saw a little green dot on top of an outdoor shade. I looked closer, but no avail. However, I did also manage to spot it standing on a little brown platform. That's when I knew... that damn statue was staring at me again! It was different this time though. It's arms were outwards in a letter "T" shape.

It's arms had faint scratch marks and it's hands were bloody up to the elbow... or what was once the elbow. It's eyes were missing. Two black sockets soaked with bloody tears. I looked back at the child and he said "charming... isn't it...?" Then he laughed like the salesman and ran off. People were looking at me and asked "who are you talking to?" I tried explaining to them that I just saw a kid with red combed hair and a creepy smile, but nobody believed me. I was sent to the nurse for dehydration and what people thought was insanity. Whoever thought I didn't know what I was talking about was completely wrong, so basically everyone. Except for this one guy I know who looked at me with an expression of fear I have never seen in his coffee brown eyes before. In the wind, I heard a faint voice.

"Three Days" it said. Finally everyone else heard it.

Okay, now I KNOW he's onto me. He won't let me publish my recordings to YouTube. I'm hearing voices coming from my bedroom window at night and random audio and video files have been mysteriously appearing on my desktop. They had names like "GO (2)" or "LEAVENOW (3)" (these were originally audio files that Ben sent to my research partner Scirocco. I assume he modified them) which really creeped me the hell out. I don't know what he wants, but he's surely crossed the line. He's screwing with my girlfriend's mind and she's really freaked out. My assumption would be to battle him. Fight the statue. Even though it would be no use, I have to try for the sake of my girlfriend's sanity. I don't want her to end up like me.

I booted up my Nintendo 64 rom ready for battle. I found only one file present. "FACE ME". I selected the file. Readily staring at the computer screen, I found myself in Majora's boss room. No blur oddly enough. I rigged a cheat in the game where if I played a song, a soundtrack from the game itself would play instead. I played the Song of Storms out of random selection (and the battle would look epic with rain). The soundtrack: the standard boss theme.

I ran forward and the statue spawned behind me. I turned around and I was about to strike with my (for some reason) Kokiri sword in hand when suddenly, a text box appeared out of nowhere. It said "You can't survive this." Before the box dispersed, I quickly paused and whipped out my Goron's Mask. I knew where this is going. I quickly put it on before he had lifted me in the air and (failed to) burst me into flames. Gorons are immune to fire! Hah! Another box appeared. It said "you're not as stupid as I anticipated. It will be fun crushing you." I waited for the next move. It was a choking in water animation. I quickly paused and whipped out my game before I realized: Zoras instantly die when electrocuted. Instead, I just kept the Goron's Mask on and electricity surrounded me. I didn't take much damage. He said, "remove the mask or die." I refused to take orders from a mindless statue, so I kept the mask on. "If that's how its going to be, mortal..." a timer timing 10 minutes appeared. I knew it. He spawned in front of me and my music stopped. What the hell? He took temporary control of me and played the Song of Healing on my drums. He must have rigged it so that his song played: the Song of UNhealing. The timer skipped to 5 minutes. I will defeat him! I put on my Fierce Deity's mask and started Z-targeting and swinging. Several energy blasts hit him before he said "I've had enough. Die!" The timer skipped to 2 seconds. I took off the mask and delivered a last second jump strike before the screen faded to white. The game crashed, exited itself out, and deleted itself. The rom... deleted itself... I knew it... I had won...

So now that everything is cool, I better go tell my girl the good news.

THE BOY IS WRONG. HE DID NOT WIN.
