Well what it was was this little metal thing with two swirly hooks on either end. It was holding my ureter in place because they had to remove part of it to excise a tumor. Once it healed they removed it, and normally it's supposed to be just an uncomfortable process to have it removed. But not so for ol me. They ran this camera with a hook on it up into me, which was uncomfortable but not super painful. Then they went through the sphincter of my bladder which was a bit painful, but still, not a huge deal. Then they hooked onto the metal thing and started to slide that baby out when BAM. Sumbitch got lodged between a calcium deposit (which was basically a kidney stone) and, of all things, my prostate. Which I didn't even know was accessible via that route. So the urologist is yanking on that sumbitch and I'm praying for death. She's apologizing the whole time, but she sees me turn white and she stops and says she'll get me into surgery. They took me back there and knocked me out for it and I woke up with a blood filled catheter bag but was otherwise no worse for wear. Weird experience though. 3/10 would not recommend. And it was 3 only because the urologist's assistant was hot
