I learnt a dark and terrible secret about reality

I wake up each night drenched in sweat. I can't think. I can't breathe. All my mind is focused on the horrible truth that was burnt into my mind on that terrible night. Whenever I close my eyes, even for an instant, I see it in that endless darkness.

So naturally I won't be telling you what it is.
