Kirby NES.exe

For the uninitiated, Kirby is an iconic character who is part of Nintendo. It first appeared in a 1993 NES game by Hal Laboratory Inc.

In 2001 he appeared with an anime called "Kirby, right back at ya!". An anime that was to the liking of the people, but also to my liking ...

Of all the franchises and the history of Kirby games, my favorites have been the NES and SNES games, but most of all, the NES game.

Since I thought too much about these things, I decided to search the internet for something emulating because I felt like I wanted to relive some memories from when I was little.

Of course, some emulators were malfunctioning, some didn't work, some crashed, and some had video or audio errors.

Having fallen to the ground, I did not give up, because it is very easy to find something retro, especially these days with technology and social media.

And it's been 10 minutes since I scoured the internet for a NES emulator with the game Kirby, but after a whole visit of retro sites that didn't make sense ...

I found a site that looks a little dubious if you ask me, it was that kind of sketchy site that you say was made by a 9th grader, a beginner in computer science and HTML / Coding / Web Development

But that didn't matter, what mattered was that the site had the old Kirby for the NES, no trace of the emulator, just a file called "Kirby NES.exe".

I was more relieved that there was no emulator, that I didn't have to bother with startup or software issues. I installed the game, being excited that I can finally play my childhood game.

The game took me directly to the title screen. Strange, it was like that introduction when it was a tutorial about drawing Kirby on a sheet of pencil ....

I ignored it and continued. The level was the same, nothing changed, the music was the same catchy and happy music from the level, the background was the same, but the only things missing were the Items and Enemies.

I was even easier because I can finish the game faster without complicating myself with the loss of life ..... [I thought so .... but I was sorely mistaken]

When I reached the second level. it was flat, there weren't even any jumping platforms ...... nothing. When I was at the end, everything started to get weird from here.

The music has a slow playback speed, and the background was red. After I approached the edge of the screen where the level ends ...... another Kibry appeared in front of me, but with black color and red eyes.

After that it appeared statically on the screen for a few seconds, and then I went to a new level ....

The level had a completely black background, and the music was gone at all, it was just Kirby alone on a black screen ...

I walked for about 2 minutes, until that black Kirby appeared at the end of the level again. After that, the screen went black with red text saying "You can't escape" [PC name]

They were really horrified, it turned out that a piece of rom hack from my favorite game knew my name. Better to stop everything because I'm tired

The game crashed, I was relieved that everything was over and that I no longer had to deal with such parodies that make fun of nostalgia and good times.

That's what I thought, until Kirby appeared on my PC screen with red eyes and a scream in the background, which made me startle and throw my headphones on the ground ....

The screen started to light up a series of bright colors that gave me sore eyes. He kept it that way until he fired my head unit.

When I looked at the drive, I saw that the video card with the hard disk was burned. The board was a 4 gb GTX 1650, and the hard drive was a 230 gb ssd

In vain we examined everything, as the noise together with the screen with the dazzling colors were still running, and suddenly, I felt dizzy, and slowly, I fainted ....

When I woke up, it was morning, and the first thing I saw was my PC. I saw that the unit was without any shots, and the video card with the ssd had nothing, they were like new.

It seemed to me that everything was a dream after the strange things happened .......... I also checked the PC, and it didn't have anything on it, as if it had been reset ....

I installed my Chrome, and the first thing I looked for was that "Kirby NES.exe" but ..... I didn't find anything, just emulators with the original game.

I gave up everything, drank a glass of water, and called some friends to go out because it was clear and only good that I could recreate myself mentally and spiritually.

I also told my friends everything that happened, and they believed me, but they thought why the hell did he shoot the central unit and then it returned to normal when I woke up ....

That we all said to each other that what happened to me didn't seem like a dream. Nothing has happened since that day, but I still think today, what happened while I fainted .....
