LET'S MAKE A CONTRACT

This is a parody of a Titanic-load of creepypastas.

I just want to start off by saying if you want an answer at the end, prepare to be disappointed. There just isn't one.

I was an intern at kittylover75 Studios for a year in 1997 for my degree in animation. It wasn't paid of course, most internships aren't, but it did have some perks beyond education. To adults it might not seem like a big one, but most kids at the time would go crazy over it.

Now, since I worked directly with the editors and animators, I got to view the new episodes days before they aired. I'll get right to it without giving too many unnecessary details. They had very recently made the Genderbent Realm movie and the entire staff was somewhat sapped of creativity so it took them longer to finish Season 3 of Crossover Town. But the delay lasted longer for more upsetting reasons. There was a problem with the season finale that set everyone and everything back for several months.

Me and two other interns were in the editing room along with the lead animators and sound editors for the final cut. We received the copy that was supposed to be "Double Trouble" and gathered around the screen to watch. Now, given that it isn't final yet animators often put up a mock title card, sort of an inside joke for us, with phony, often times lewd titles, such as "How sex doesn't work" instead of "MatCat" when Andreanna and Sarah adopt Matty. Nothing particularly funny but work related chuckles. So when we saw the title card "LET'S MAKE A CONTRACT", we didn't think it more than a morbid joke.

One of the interns did a small throat laugh at it. The intro theme played, although it was played a little differently than I recall. The music was what sounded like a broken music box, and the characters weren't introduced, it only said "Crossover Town" for all of the intro. The quality was terrible. We ignored that, assuming that it was done just for this episode.

It began with Andreanna, the show's main protagonist, standing alone facing a corner of her room. She looked absolutely miserable, a far cry from the cheerful demeanor she usually had. It was night time as well. A yellow light suddenly glew on Andreanna, and she turned around, looking a bit less miserable. Error Sans appeared right in front of Andreanna. Then, static appeared. When the static vanished, it showed nothing but a black screen.

It fades to Andreanna skipping happily to her house. The animation looks a little bit better here, more like the show's normal quality. It was daytime at this point, so we thought it could've been the next day.

Then, Andreanna arrives. She goes in her room, and sees Error.

He then said in his usually glitched voice, "Oh, hello, Andreanna. There's a request I need you to do."

Andreanna asked, "What do you want me to do?"

Error whispered something that scarred us (and apparently Andreanna) for life:

"LET'S MAKE A CONTRACT."

Andreanna cowered in the corner she was standing in the the beginning of the episode. Error yells, "If you wanna live, you must make a contract with me! Or else, you will forever be tortured inside my own little hell. My victims have learned that the hard way."

Andreanna managed to trip Error and ran for it. He soon got up and began chasing her. Andreanna fled the house. A time card appeared reading, "11:59 PM".

She cringes up against a wall with Error towering over her. Andreanna cried, "Error, please... I'll make that contract if you don't hurt me!" Error reached his hand out, but then chimes were heard. Andreanna quickly grabbed his hand before he could get it away.

"Andreanna..."

Andreanna had a look of relief on her face, but it went away when Error yelled in a voice much glitchier than before, "IT'S MIDNIGHT! TOO LATE!" He grabbed her and threw her on the bed. He started torturing her with his blue strings in ways that scarred us more. I don't want to be scarred any more, so I won't mention the torture that happened. After a few minutes of torture, Andreanna whispered, "No more, please..." He finally grabbed her soul with the blue strings and shattered it, killing her. Another time card appeared, this time reading, "10 Years Later".

It showed a grown-up Aliza at her desk with a pencil, a sheet of paper, and a gun. She starts writing and narrating.

"Dear world, I can't take it anymore! It's been 10 years since I've seen my best friend, Andreanna. She was the one who protected me from those Horrortale monsters. Without her, I'm nothing. I've been beaten and raped for these past years by them, and it's all because of Andreanna's death. I'm sorry if I'm hurting anyone at all for doing this, but I just can't live like this anymore."

She stopped writing for a few seconds, then she wrote,

"Goodbye. Love, Aliza."

She picked up the gun and offed herself on the spot. The screen abruptly cuts to the credits with the same music box from in the intro playing in the background. The episode ended after the credits were done rolling.

After seeing this video, I have never been the same. I've been angrier, crueler, and more anxious than ever before. It has haunted my mind all the time. I regret watching the video in the first place. I wish I could just go back in tiLETSMAKEACONTRACT
