Lake Evil

"Lake Evil". It's a red, disgusting body of "water" that seems to have a curse placed on it. Locals give it wide berth, and the lucky ones who returned from a trip have reported many different ailments to doctors.

Swimming in Lake Evil can cause blood pooling in the gums, nausea, vomiting, anemia, diarrhea, and fatigue. Symptoms may also include loss of hair, teeth, and skin. In serious cases, living creatures will suffer from gastrointestinal bleeding, violent hemorrhaging, and death. Merely standing beside Lake Evil for too long has been known to hospitalize people in best case scenarios.

On May 6th, 2002, a brave explorer from England, named John J. Johnson, set up a camera near Lake Evil to document its devastating effects on the surrounding environment. He disappeared the next day, and was never seen again. Some say his body may rest in the lake's endless void. Others say what he uncovered may have put him into danger, and he was killed by unknown assailants. Lake Evil's reputation as a spot of death and despair is not unfounded.

The Lake's surroundings seem to suggest that it was once used as a toxic waste dump, and that over the years the water has been completely replaced by a red fluid that is highly corrosive and poisonous. Could it be radiation? Perhaps.

Another victim, Curly Pubes, was found dead by Lake Evil on November 1st, 2004. His skin and body were completely reddened by the lake's liquid, and his skin was beginning to melt away. His pubes were all burnt off.

As to the origin of the name, "Lake Evil", a short-lived connection was made between the lake, and a famous doctor who constantly wore gray clothes and was bald. This man, "Dr. Evil" as he was known by his evil medical school colleagues, denied all involvement with the naming, claiming that it was "just a frickin' coincidence." No further questions were asked, as "Evil" jumped out a window and disappeared into the night. His body was found three days later.

Lake Evil appears to be even more than just a lake. Near-victims of the lake claimed to hear demonic voices as they got closer to the body of liquid, but fled after snapping out of their trance. One victim insisted that she heard something telling her to cannonball into the lake while naked, but as she was on LSD at the time, the accounts are unconfirmed.

Interestingly, there have been things pulled out of the lake. A local who braved the dangers of the surrounding area of Lake Evil began to magnetically fish, and pulled out a device that seemed strangely alien in appearance, as its use was not known whatsoever by any experts. It appeared to be a metallic triangle with three glowing corners. The same local went back again and fished out an MP40 submachine gun, proving that Lake Evil was a battle site during World War 2. Lake Evil has been shut off to the public since 2016, although there are still the occasional explorers venturing in looking to be scared, or merely testing their strength.

If you're a brave explorer looking to investigate Lake Evil, be warned... it will kill again. Maybe the liquid in Lake Evil is..................... blood!
