Life.exe
It's been a long time since it happened. I don't talk to anyone about it until I found this site. I thought this was the perfect place to spread the word with everyone, here's my story. I live in Brazil, here I know a place where you can buy many pirated games for a cheap price. When I don't have money to get it through Steam, I just get a pirated copy. Well in the day that I've decided to go get some shooting games, I saw a man bleeding on the ground, he was selling pirated games before he died. "I know I was going to die soon...that damn game..." I tried to understand what happened and I said "What game are you talking about?" "Please my child... go away and save yourself..."
The last thing he said before he died. I was too curious about the game and I searched around to see if I would find anything, do yourself a favor and if this ever happen to you PLEASE don't be an idiot like me. I found a lot of strange stuff such as "Half-Life Bloody Version", "Super Meat Boy: The Death of Everything", "Binding of Isaac: Lost Version", "Battlefield: Hero's Hell" and much more. That guy was really crazy; selling the normal games with creepy names isn't the proper thing when selling games.
After searching I find one that was different, it was just named Life.exe, it had blood around the game box with a note behind it, and I just started to read. "No one deserves what is coming now, except you, if you were really looking for this; I hope you die in hell". After read it that I felt strange and left the place with the game, oh how I regret this.
I came back home and popped the CD onto my computer. It was empty. "I went there for nothing? Maybe I should try tomorrow". It was late so I shutdown my PC and went to sleep. While sleeping I could hear some creepy voices saying "Don't do that please..." I woke up with a really loud sound; it was my PC starting up! It was midnight at that time. When I got to my PC, a window was open with the contents of the CD that was just "IMAGES" and "Life.exe". The "IMAGES" folder had a RAR file in it was named "Hell.rar". At that time I was creeped out of my mind, but when I saw the opportunity to play the game, I clicked it and that my friend was the worst error of my life.
It began with a black screen with no sound at all and had only two options: "Begin" and "GET OUT NOW". I pressed Begin then the screen goes black again for about 10 seconds then some intro starts to play. It was a filming of me when I entered the man's store to search for the game and when I got the game for the first time I saw a black shadow behind me with red eyes that looked at the screen, it looked right in my eyes, then it screams and the screen goes black. I turned off the sound of my PC. I was terrified and wondering how the CD could have this recent footage?
The game finally started, the character looked just like me. It was a 2D like game and I could move the character around the city, it showed the place where I live and the NPC's were my friends and family. Everything in the game was just as my life.
Now I know why the game was named Life.exe. I explored the city when everything went darker and only two characters visible in the game now. Me and a shadow with red eyes, just like in the video. I click him and he said. "YOU KILLED EVERYONE.THEY HATE YOU NOW. Who is going to protect you?" A creepy sound started to play, I turn off my PC sound how could it possibility play on my PC? Anyway I continued and click on it again.
The screen displayed,

This time the sound get freakier and I started to hear cries and screams. Just like if I was in hell. The game screen was all bloody around it and when I clicked it again. "You are next. You are like everyone...you deserve what you wanted."
A loud scream that made my speakers stopped working. I saw a picture of me being stabbed by the man who I found dead, my stomach was exposed and shaved, there was blood in his hand and he had red eyes like the shadow and in the pictures was the message. "You are next too". I freaked out. I tried to call the cops, but the phone line was cut. Then I realized that the binary code must mean something, and then I used Google and decrypted meant. "You're going to die in hell".
I used the code to open the "Hell.rar" file and showed a note. "Everyone has a destiny and the people who find this only have one. Hell, try not dying by my hand, I come for you [My name]" How did it know my name?
I burned the CD and went away from my home. I'm now changing my place every time that I feel necessary. Every night I have dreams with the creepy figure and in the end of every dream I see the same message "You going to die in hell".
These days I used Google to search Life.exe. There was nothing about it and also looked for news of the man that I talked about. There was nothing about him. The store and he didn't even exist.

Some days after I posted the story, I found the CD right next to my computer. How this is possible? I burned it..." I put the CD on my PC and look to see if there is anything new on it. It was just the same things but there was one new thing and it was a note file called I see you.
"You may be trying to escape your destiny, but I will find you. I see your soul and I'm going to burn you in hell".
I was scared, after a long time he finally found me again? Maybe he knew this website. I don't even know who is he or what he wants...
After some thinking I finally decided to play the game one more time, to see what has changed. For my surprise nothing new at all, it was the same game with the same place, characters, but this time, the game doesn't change at all and I can walk through the city and I talked to some NPCS. It always shows 3 options. Response, go away and kill.
How can be it possible to kill people on such a innocent game? Or I think it was now the game is acting like every another. I will write more about this later.

This is getting boring; walking through the city isn't really scary. So I tried the option kill. It showed and bloody screen and then some horrible screams like if the people were begin massacred. A real picture of the body appears it was...the body of one of my friends...how could this be...wait I can see the black figure with red eyes, why is it looking at me? It's moving...like if he wants to tell me something.
Why I want to continue? What's happening to me?

I killed...I killed everyone in the city, why did I do this? WHY I WANTED TO DO THIS? THEY WERE ALL MY FRIENDS AND PEOPLE OF MY FAMILY! WHAT FORCED ME TO DO SUCH THING?!

I woke up on the front of my pc to see that I wrote some text here, I can't remember, after I read it I felled weird, why I write this? If that really happened I would stop killing and see if my friend was okay... if this is real...

I back from watching my TV. It showed that in the place that I lived, all the people of the game died, they all was cut into pieces. I told the cops that I would probably the next, but they didn't believed me at all, so I'm now looking for a new place near a police station, in case I need it.

Hey I know you want to know what happened yesterday, well after sometime staring at the figure I heard a loud noise in my door, it found me, it just teleported to here to kill me, but this time I was prepared used an old revolver that I have to shoot him, he don't really get hurt but it was the necessary to distract him and I could get out. I ran until I saw the cops outside the police station, they heard the shooting and went to see what's going on.
They shot and killed the figure. It was the same man that died in the day that I got the game; a black shadow flew out of him and disappeared. I guess he was being used by some strange force.
I was finally free... or was I?
