Mario Kart Wii Beta

I was a game tester at Nintendo of America back in the winter of 2007. Nintendo would mail me games to test out before their release. It was a pretty fun job, but I had to quit due to unfortunate circumstances. One night, I was mailed a beta version of Mario Kart Wii that I had to playtest before it's release in April. I inserted the disk into my Wii to play it. I started up the game and decided to play Grand Prix. I picked Funky Kong because he seemed like a cool character. The game was quite fun, and I really liked it. After about 30 minutes or so of playing, I went back to the main menu to check out the other game modes, but all of the other game modes were gone, and there was only one game mode left, but it was just blank. I thought to myself "Since it's the beta, it's gonna have glitches like this." I played the mysterious game mode, but there was something very wrong with this game mode. The textures were glitched out, and my character was very slow, the AI won, but I just kept trying to drive to the finish line, but the sky slowly turned pitch black, and my character became even slower. The road vanished out of thin air, and Luigi walked up to my character, but something was wrong with him. Luigi was pitch black, and his eyes were just small white dots. And other Mario Kart characters started walking towards my characters, but were pitch black and had small white dots like Luigi. Luigi and them started repeating the phrase "We were here before you, you will be next" until the screen faded to black, and the disk ejected by itself. I repeatedly emailed Nintendo about this strange beta for months until they replied with

"We did not mean to give you that copy, return it to Nintendo immediately."
