Michael Scott in Minecraft

I was playing Minecraft, all day every day, until one day when I was playing on my survival world. When I went onto the world, I found myself alone in the darkness of the night, which was very confusing for me. I remembered leaving the world during the day. I made my way back to my house using my map, but when I arrived, my front door was open. I walked in and was confused when my dog was gone and my items had vanished. I started to panic, so I ran out of the house and looked around. Then I saw a chest hiding behind a tree, so I opened it and found a book labelled "Threat Level: Midnight". Thinking it was weird, I took it and read through it. After a few hours, I stopped and got bored, so I took it back to the chest. When I did, though, I found two more items inside, a stapler and jelly. Curious, I got my crafting table and put the stapler into the jelly. When I did that, there was lightning. What had I done?

Scared and worried for my safety, I decided to leave the game. HOWEVER, I was unable to pause the game and leave. Being stupid, I couldn't think of another way out, so I kept playing and entered my house again. Inside, I found a bucket of milk labelled "World's Best Boss". So, I took it and drank it. This caused more lightning, meaning I was doing something wrong. I left the house and met a villager who was wearing a brown suit and yellow shirt. Text appeared as he asked me "Would you rather be feared or loved?" I replied with "Uh, easy, both." He said to me "You want people to be scared of how much they love you?" And I said "Yep." I entered my house again, and got tired of constantly going in and out, so I promised myself to stay inside. Like I mentioned before, I am stupid, so obviously I left after a few minutes. After all, my stuff was gone, so what could I do? I decided to leave my house for good and search for virgin lands. Eventually, I made it to a desert. Strangely, there were no cacti or dead bushes, or anything. It was mostly flat land. I kept walking until I found a strange building in the middle of nowhere. It looked like an office building, so entered.

Most of the doors were locked, until I went upstairs and found that I could enter an area. A sign read "Dunder Mifflin", so I entered and found what looked like an office. It was dark and looked abandoned, with cobwebs and vines everywhere. On one of the desks was a plate, so I placed the jelly onto it. No lightning this time? Cool. I entered what looked like an office with a desk and window behind it, and there was a chest inside. I opened it and placed the bucket inside. I then left the office and went to a back area, which had toilets and a fridge. I passed into another office space, and found a desk covered in red carpet, which I thought was a poor attempt at imitating BLOOD. It was not blood, though, so I left unamused. When I left the building, I found the villager, who had returned. He said "Michael! Jim put my stapler in jelly again!" I didn't reply. I didn't know who Jim was...

The villager ran into the building, so I followed him, curiously. We went back to the Dunder Mifflin office, and then... I found what looked like a mirror. I had never seen a mirror in Minecraft before, but when I looked in... I was a man in a suit. I was actually the man himself. The friend, the boss, maybe the entertainer... Michael Gary Scott. It was me the whole time... I turned around and saw another man in a suit with a sword, except he had no blazer and had a goatee. He said "Good show, even though it was my idea." He went after me and started hitting me. I screamed. "NO, GOD! NO, GOD, PLEASE, NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOO!!!" He strangled me. Was David Brent the Scranton Strangler the whole time!? It was never explained why he was there in the first place. I punched him and ran away, hoping to escape. I knew that Dwight would have my back, so I called the villager to help me. He started fighting Brent as I watched, confused and scared. Eventually, Brent was defeated, but before he died, he revealed himself to be wearing a mask... He uncovered his head, and, to my utter shock, it was Toby Flenderson from HR! I felt I knew it! In tears, I asked him, with a wavy voice, "Why are you the way that you are?" He didn't reply. "I hate so much about the things you choose to be!" I screamed before leaving. The villager arrested Toby, because he was a volunteer, and ran things on that end whilst I walked away, wondering what was going on. Am I really Michael Scott? Was I Michael all along? How had I not seen it? I guess we'll never know...
