The story of Cowiek Maup, the greatest war criminal, is a trollpasta created by Polish anons. Its popularity led to the creation of an animated version.

Once I woke up at night, it was winter... I live in a housing estate in a block of flats on the 4th floor. I lay motionless, the light from the street lamp reflected off the snow-covered street, everything was so white, but I realized what a sound it was that woke me up, it sounded like it was coming from a dumpster, such a bird's squawk and scratching, the sound was so loud that I thought I some old frustrated person will go out on the balcony and roar something.. or call the police, but nothing like that happened. This sound of croaking combined with yelping and scratching was uniformly measured, it drove me to such an extreme that I just said to myself: this can't be real, this is not a horror movie, it's real life, seriously I had tears in my eyes, I don't know how long I lay there I didn't move, but when the cawing subsided a bit, I steeled myself and walked gently over to the window. Nothing was happening in the dumpster, so I decided to open the curtain a little and take a closer look. I grabbed the edge lightly... KRAAAAAA! If something doesn't hit the glass, it grabs my hand, I look and here is monke mon, the greatest war criminal! "Motherfucker leave me!!!" I was screaming like crazy and he was just: KRAAAAAA! KRAAAAAA! UUUUUU...! I ran into the room, and he stood in front of me on the windowsill in all its glory, I quickly ran out of the apartment, opened the fuse box in the corridor, wanting to tear off the door to have something to defend myself with, but mon was already behind me ... KRAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I jumped back... and he f***ed with the fuses, the light flickered all over the block, and I took the opportunity to close the door and seal it with chewing gum... And he just howled and snorted, then calmed down, and I went back to my bed... monke mon is already in the fuse box for the second year... And I'm just praying that there is no failure in the block...
