Chapter 1: The Sad Day

I saw my mother crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

There wasn't a response, just more crying.

I kept on asking the same question.

Again, there was no response.

I felt bad for my mother.

I had no idea why she was crying.

There wasn't any reason why my mother was crying.

I was confused.

But I kept on asking the same question for days.

But there was no reply.

And I felt destined to find out the truth.

But I don't know what's going on.

And I have a strange feeling that it's going to worsen over the next couple of weeks.

My mother just began to cry.

She didn't seem to stop.

It felt like ages have passed.

And I think that something suspicious is going on here.

I don't know what to do.

Chapter 2: Hope Is Lost

My mother stopped crying, finally.

It had been 2 weeks of constant crying.

Her eyes were bloodshot, it terrified me.

But I have to be brave.

And my mother just stood still, looking at me, with a twisted smirk, as she cackled.

Almost like she was a witch.

I felt scared for her.

Chapter 3: The Transformation

My mother suddenly turned into a old woman with a wart on her nose.

She was smiling at me.

I felt scared, as she began to laugh.

I watched as she cackled.

She began to stare at me.

Her clothes began to turn black.

Her hair turned black.

She was suddenly wearing black shoes.

Her nose became long and crooked.

She stared.

I turned away, and when I turned back, she was wearing a black hat.

She then had a wand, a broom and a cauldron.

She began casting spells.

She began cackling.

She chased me on her magical broom.

She's a witch now.

And it really freaked me out.

Chapter 4: Aftermath

After that 2 week transformation, I've never felt the same.

I always go to bed now, scared that my granny or my mother could be a real witch.

I can't stop thinking about.

It's been permanent cinched into my memory.

There's nothing I can do.

I know that the mother standing in front of me was no longer my mother. It was actually my grandmother who is still a witch until this very day...
