Multiversal Character Manifestation

From Trollpasta Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search

Multiversal Character Manifestation, often shortened to MCM, is a rare anomaly where a character or a group of characters from non-Mario media manifest and are present in some personalized copies of Super Mario 64, each of them ranging from whatever release date and year the media they originate from were released, even ones that didn't exist back then.

Conspiracy theorists claim that the non-Mario characters usually manifest in levels, areas and courses present in the game and report that they look like completely original models instead of reskins/recolors of already existing models in the game.

Description

As mentioned above, Multiversal Character Manifestation (MCM for short) is a rare anomaly where a character or a group of characters from non-Mario media manifest and are claimed to appear in some personalized copies of Super Mario 64.

They all range from whatever release date, month and year the media they originate from were released, even ones that didn't exist back in the 90's.

They range from characters from different anime and manga, comic books, films (whether it be animated or live-action), video games, web videos, web animations, web originals, or western animation.

They are said to appear in already existing levels, areas and courses, and, on some rare occasions, anomalous locations (such as the 4th Floor, Floor 2B, Bowser's Domain, Chroma Tundra, etc.) or whenever an anomaly (such as Dynamic Level Rearrangement, Major Level Expansion, the White-eyed Chomp, Castle Garden, etc.) is active.

Their models are said to not look like reskins/recolors of already existing models, but instead, completely original models that seem to be created entirely by the Personalization A.I. itself.

The Personalization A.I. is said to make the characters not act like NPCs, but able to give them minds of their own, to the point where they are reported to act like their original counterparts, even having the ability to let them generate and utter vocals instead of letting textboxes with dialogue pop up.

The voices of the characters are reported to sound like their actual voice actor.

If a character is removed/deleted/erased from the game, the characters will act like they are completely aware of their existence and start to search the level/area/course for the missing character.

This is highly speculated to be done by the Personalization A.I. itself to prevent the game from lagging, freezing and crashing.

If Mario gets hurt or damaged by the characters, he will actually get affected.

Reports

Report 1 - Battle For BFB/The Power of Two

I can't believe what I just saw. I think I was hallucinating or going insane. I was just playing my childhood game Super Mario 64 minding my own business. Everything seemed normal, right up until I finished Bowser In The Dark World. Right after I got the key that opens up the doors that lead to The Castle Basement, I lead Mario down the stairs to enter the basement when all of a sudden, I heard muffled voices. At first, I thought they were coming from outside my house, but when I looked out my window, no one was there, I only saw my neighbors packing their car to go on vacation. I was home alone at the moment. My parents went grocery shopping. After looking around, I then realized that the muffled voices were not coming from outside or inside my house, they were actually emanating from my TV, and I could tell that they were coming directly from outside of Princess Peach's Castle and in the Castle Grounds, because whenever I moved Mario a bit closer, the voices got louder.

Curious, I led Mario towards the front doors of the castle and let him exit. Once I got out, the voices were already chatting and replying to each other, saying and asking questions, like "What just happened?", "Where are we?", "What is this place?", etc.. They sounded... familiar. I then let Mario walk away from the doors and closer to the grounds to inspect the voices. I made Lakitu face Mario, and... it's... it's gonna be very hard to process what I saw... I know you're not gonna believe me when I say this... but... here it goes... I... I saw... Four... X... Firey... Lollipop... Loser... Gelatin... Flower... Ruby... Woody... Taco... Bubble... Teardrop... Balloony... Blocky... Leafy... and Spongy... just standing there and walking around trying to solve the predicament they are currently in... I'm not even kidding... 16 characters from the 4th season of a web series I used to watch when I was younger... but gave up when the creators decided to split the show into 2 shows... they were actually there... walking and talking... their voices sounding as if their voice actors actually recorded voice clips for them... there were no textboxes for dialogue popping up... just voice clips... emanating directly from my television... their models... they didn't look like reskins or recolors of already existing models found in the game... they... they actually... looked... like... completely original models... as if Nintendo themselves made models out of them... which didn't make any kind of sense whatsoever, as Super Mario 64 came out in 1996 and Battle For Dream Island came out in 2010... it's as if they got sucked into the game I was currently playing...

I couldn't believe my eyes... Was I dreaming, or something...? Was I playing a ROM Hack burnt into an N64 cartridge...? Anyways, I let Mario quietly and carefully walk up behind Balloony while he was having a conversation with Lollipop, trying to figure out where they are. Unfortunately, Lollipop looked behind Balloony and was shocked to find Mario standing behind him. Lollipop looking behind Balloony caught me off guard, and I accidentally pressed a random button on my N64 controller thanks to me being caught off guard, and, as a result, Lakitu zoomed his camera out of Mario's head and Mario punched Balloony on the back of his head. Balloony yelled "OW!" and clutched the spot where Mario hit him with his hands, alerting the others around them. Four and the contestants instantly noticed Mario, and, in a flash, I quickly let Mario run back towards the main doors of the castle to escape, but Four, using his reality warping powers, extended and elongated his right arm and grabbed Mario, and then afterwards, dragged him back towards him, where he then proceeded to let out one of his signature screeches I heard back when I watched BFB.

The screech was so loud that it even emanated right out of my television and hurt my ears. I even saw Mario's health meter appearing on my screen and starting to lower, which means that even Four's screeches could even affect non-objects. Quickly, I picked up my N64 controller after I accidentally dropped it when Four screeched, and, after mashing random buttons, successfully let Mario break free from Four's grasp by kicking him in the chest. Happy that I freed Mario, I then turned him around and made my way into the castle quickly by running, jumping and diving. Just when I thought I was safe for now and it was all over, I was dead wrong, because right when I walked Mario towards the hub world's carpet, Four began submerging himself into the castle and eventually became it. I could already tell because something blue entered the castle and enveloped everything inside the castle, while still maintaining their original shape. I even saw Toad's normal happy facial expression change into an expression that displays horror and fear. For no reason, I ran over to Toad and interacted with him, and was stunned, because his dialogue was changed and only had one line of dialogue. The line only said: "Mario, what's going on? What's happening? Why is everything turning blue?", but while reading that one line of text, Four's voice suddenly blasted through my television.

"CONSTESTANTS, TODAY'S CHALLENGE IS TO CATCH THAT STRANGE PERSON SO HE COULD BE TAUGHT ALGEBRA WITH THE OTHERS!"

I already knew what that meant... Four was trying to catch Mario so he could put him in the E.X.I.T. with the EXITors (Match, Pencil, Bracelety, Liy, 8-Ball, Stapy, Firey Jr., David and Roboty)... and the fact that he harmed one of his contestants... and I could tell that he already knew what humans were, as evidenced in jacknjellify's 9,000,000 subscribers celebration video...

In a flash, I quickly closed the textbox and made a run for it towards Bob-Omb Battlefield, hoping to be safe there as I heard the front doors to the castle opening and I didn't notice Four's angry eyes on the ceiling because I didn't want my favorite video game character to be eliminated...

Once I entered the room where the painting to Bob-Omb Battlefield was located, I quickly made Mario run towards it and jump right into it, successfully escaping Four and the contestants...

Once Mario landed inside the level, I noticed something was already off, because first, the Bob-Omb Buddies that usually appear were completely absent, along with the Goombas, including the Bob-Omb located right next to the bridge.

What made it even more weird was that the 2 breakable boxes at the start of the level were gone, as if they were never there to begin with... not even the coins were there too...

Puzzled, I led Mario all the way up the wooden bridge, thinking that the level was completely empty as that point in time... and... oh boy... here we go again...

I made Lakitu face Mario, turned his head, and I saw Bomby with multiple Bob-Ombs surrounding him, including the Bob-Omb Buddies...

Now, don't get me wrong, I HATED The Power Of Two... I mean, seriously, what were Michael and Cary thinking...? What gave them the idea to split their beloved creation into 2 shows...?

The main reason why I stopped watching BFB was because of BFB 16... you know, The Escape From Four? Two was very unlikable in that episode and it was basically a Four torture episode, and, to make matters even worse, he stole half of Four's contestants and teleported the others into some sort of mountain-like landscape just so he could host his own show!

No wonder Two was my most hated BFB character of all time and I always prefer Four over him...

I wish he never showed up in BFB 16 and BFB continued like normal...

Anyways, back to the story.

The Bob-Ombs were all surrounding Bomby, observing him, viewing and thinking of him as some sort of prince or father towards them, all the while he was eating his cake and banana.

I then made Mario turn to his left and I saw the Chain-Chomp, making it's usual barking noises, but this time, it did not lash out at Mario, instead, it was jumping around and lashing out at other objects.

I made Lakitu zoom out, made Mario walk closer towards the Chain-Chomp to get a closer look, and zoomed in again.

From that shot, I could make out the objects that were toying with the chained beast and trying to break down the wooden pillar holding and containing it.

They were Snowball, Eggy, Basketball, Foldy, Grassy, Robot Flower, and Bell...

From what I could assume, they were trying to complete a mission... they were trying to free the Chain-Chomp so it can bust down the gate and get the Power Star locked behind it...

I knew exactly what I had to do...

I was originally about to help them, but before I had the time to do it, I immediately thought of something funny...

Without hesitation, I made Lakitu zoom out again, made Mario run towards Bell, and started climbing up her string, just like what Eraser did to her at the beginning of BFB 4.

I laughed as I made Mario start climbing all the way up Bell's string. I'm not even joking, Mario literally climbed all the way up Bell's string into the sky, all the while she was wiggling and jiggling, with Mario hanging on.

While climbing and expecting to see what Bell's string leads to, I heard her cries of distress emanate from my television. Again, her voice sounded like as if her voice actor recorded voice clips for her.

"DING DING DING DING DING DING DING! SOMEONE HELP ME!"

And that's when things went downhill...

Right after Bell said her line, Mario suddenly got electrocuted and fell off of Bell's string.

As I watched Mario fall all the way down from the sky and into the level below, I could already assume that perhaps Lightning himself zapped Bell in an attempt to get Mario off of her string.

When the level became clear again and Mario hit the ground upon impact, he died upon impact thanks to his health being drained after Four screeched at him from earlier and thanks to being electrocuted from Lightning.

As the screen irised out with the usual Bowser-shaped head accompanied by Bowser's evil laugh, I immediately thought to myself: "Alright, that's enough for today..."

I then put down my N64 controller, reached out, and took the cartridge out of the Nintendo 64.

After a few hours of thinking about what the hell just happened, my parents came home with the groceries."

Report 2 - Baldi's Basics In Education And Learning

"...Okay, this was the weirdest thing. I went into the 2nd Floor, but all of a sudden, the Principal Of The Thing from the indie game Baldi's Basics In Education And Learning came out of nowhere, which is very strange, considering the fact that Super Mario 64 came out in 1996 and Baldi's Basics was released in 2018. I don't remember much, but all I know was that his model looked like a completely original model, not some sort of palette swap of another model. A textbox didn't even pop up, his voice blared out of my television, saying "No running in the halls", and when he caught Mario, he was instantly warped into a room I've never seen before. Mario was in a small room with many tables and objects on them. Again, they looked like completely original models. The walls were the castle's usual sky appearance, with the usual sky and hills, and there were inaccessible paintings whose images consisted of already existing paintings that were hung up on the wall. There was text on my screen, along with a countdown that ticked down from 15 seconds. The text said: "You have detention! 15 Seconds Remain!" The Principal Of The Thing said: "15 seconds! Detention for you! When will you learn?" and then afterwards, he vanished into thin air. After the countdown ended, Mario was teleported back into the 2nd Floor. The same thing kept happening again and again whenever Mario ran, this time, the countdown increased, going from 15, to 30, to 60, to finally 99 seconds. It has finally gotten to the point where I couldn't take it anymore, and took the cartridge out of my N64. After that, I reinserted it. Everything was back to normal after I reinserted it back into the N64."

Theory

According to a comment on BlackJoystick's "Pipe To Another World" video.

"I don't get it. When I looked at the page it led to The Loud House, which has never existed before, but neither has everything else at the time. But I can see why he went there, it was an obsession that the personalized A.I could pick up on. The reason why the Wario Apparition exists is because of an obsession to bring Wario in. Wario is nowhere to be found in the SM64 files, so the A.I generated it's own version based on that person's image of him. When the mind is unclear to the A.I, it pulls what it can depending on the user's mental state. Calmness leads to smoothness, but insanity brings out the worst of it.

By obsessing about something, the A.I could theoretically create it's own little image based on what you thought about.

Given all that information, you could even create your own game if you were obsessed with the details, but too much tampering would obviously lead to the game feeling self-destructive like we've seen with Greenio's copies.

Therefore, whoever must've thought of this world is obsessed with Arthur, a Television program that was understandably out when it happened.

The user had everything about Arthur down to a science, and it was perfectly able to recreate that image in it's mind.

Modern users, like the one who watched The Loud House, are still able to use the A.I at it's fullest even if the game is over 20 years old.

To sum it up, here are two quotes combined from different franchises that perfectly sum up the A.I's main intentions.

"Anything is possible, but be careful not to mess with the balance of things, because everything is not what it seems."
