Never Coming Back
It was about 3:40 AM, My friend Jennifer shook me awake, "Get up, we're going for a walk." Of course I wasn't in the mood for this, But she wasn't going to leave me alone. I sat up and placed my feet firmly on the ground. "fine."
A few minutes later we were walking down the street in heavy coats. This had to be the worst thing i'd ever agreed to. We walked in silence until, we turned on the main street, I stood frozen. At the end of the street was a Figure, it was At least 9 feet tall. Jennifer grabbed my arm, I could hear her breathing heavily. "Jenny, do you see it?" she asked me, "Yeah," Is all I could manage to get out.
The Figure started walking towards us, every step brought it 4 feet forward. "Run." Jennifer said into my ear, I turned around and ran like never before Jennifer was right beside me. But the figure was somehow right beside her, "Jennifer," I said as calmly as possible, "Beside You." She screamed, The figure grabbed her by the arm. The figure skidded to a stop Jennifer stopped with it, "LET GO OF MY ARM!" Jennifer yelled, it was so loud I was sure the cops would come running. But no, instead of sirens or yelling from locals, a chuckle from the Figure. A Deep eerie chuckle, "I haven't heard a scream like THAT, since 1987." the noise came from the figure, a deep scratchy voice. This isn't what I was expecting this walk to go like. Then everything seemed so vague I can't remember specific details, only that the figure ran off dragging Jennifer by the arm as her screams filled the night.
A few Days Later: Yesterday I was browsing YouTube on my Laptop, I was looking for something not sure what though. I came across a video titled "💀Never Coming Back💀" Of course this had caught my attention. But before I clicked on it, I saw who had made the video at the bottom "The Figure" was the maker of the video. I slammed my laptop shut, I wasn't doing that, not today. I grabbed my phone from beside me and opened TikTok. I scrolled through my For You page. Lots of funny cat tiktok's, some things never change I giggled. I got ready to get up and grab a snack from the kitchen. I scrolled down and double tapped the next video that came up so that it would pause. I would meet my fruit plate very soon, I walked into the kitchen and took the plate out of the fridge, already chopped.
I sat back down on the couch and grabbed my phone. I clicked play, there was a text at the bottom of the TikTok, It read "💀Never Coming Back💀" I watched the TikTok. It began with a girl crying, not just any girl Jennifer. Then the screen changed and the Figure was standing where she was, in its deep eerie voice it said, "She's Never Coming Back." Then, the TikTok ended with Jennifer crying again in the same spot.
Now, I'm sitting on my bed, it's 12:00 AM and I've collected all the information I can get about the Figure.
Name: Unknown: Often referred to as 'The Figure'
Origin: The Origin of the Figure is in Busan, South Korea (currently known as Busan), It was a young boy who loved to adventure in the woods and around the town back in the 1890s. One night he was playing in the woods with a lantern to guide him, when the town's bullies had raced up behind him, "Hey, We found something cool wanna see?" They asked him, Since no one knew what his name was, we'll call him Jayden. Jayden had already been bullied by these kids and was hesitant to follow them. They insisted, "C'mon, It'll be fun!" They said, Jayden was getting excited now. Maybe they wanted to be his friends?
They raced through the woods, laughing as some of the slower ones ran out of breath. Jayden hadn't had this much fun before, This could be the beginning of a long lasting friend group. Jayden smiled, not aware of the bullies plans. They stopped by an old abandoned well, some of the boys including Jayden didn't realize that they had made it to their destination and bumped into the others. Laughing: they got up, helping the people that were laughing too hard. After they had all got up they stood around the well, "Hey, Go look inside. We thought we heard something." They said to Jayden. Jayden being a trusting person walked over to the well and looked inside, "I don't see anything." He said, A few of the boys approached Jayden. The boys, started laughing hard, "Look Harder!" They yelled then as Jayden leaned over the edge a little he saw nothing still. The boys had all moved closer than before to watch this unfold. One of the boys, we'll call him Mark. Approached Jayden, "He's looking, He's Waiting." Mark said, then so suddenly it happened. Mark pushed Jayden into the well, Mark walked away.
Jayden landed in water, shallow but enough to save his fall. A voice from above called out to him "Young boy, Down there." A soft ladies voice was indeed the voice he had heard. "Yes." Jayden called up, "Why did they push you down there?" The voice echoed down, "I'm not sure." Jayden replied, "Oh heavens, an act of cruelty has been put upon a young innocent boy." the voice said, "I guess, the only thing I did wrong was trust them." Jayden said. "Would you like revenge?" The voice asked him from above, Jayden thought about how mad he was, He thought he had friends but instead the group betrayed him. Betrayal, the worst thing that Jayden had heard of. Yes he wanted revenge, Yes he would terrorize anyone out at night for centuries to come. "Yes," Jayden blurted out, "Revenge sounds nice." silence, "Good, Prepare to become a Demon little one." The voice said, Jayden hadn't thought about any possibilities, "No, Wait!" Jayden called up the well, "No can do, you've already submitted to your future." The voice called back, seconds later Jayden was out of the well. And now tall, 9 feet tall, Jayden ran off into the night, searching for people to take to pay for those boys mistakes.
That's all I could collect about the Figure. It is a pretty specific origin, It took some digging on the internet and in books to put all the pieces together. One last thing I need to say about it, Its weakness.
The weakness of the figure is mostly salt, but the most effective weakness is, Oh no, It's found me already. I have to go: I'll try and upload if I get away from it, and in a safe spot.
