NoEscape Trojan
One day, I was on my computer, and I wanted to remove Cortana. I went to ask if some Discord people knew about it. I asked this guy called "d." if he knows. He knew about it, and attached a picture of the file needed. I thanked him, and asked me if he could send the file to me. He did, but first, he asked me to disable the antivirus or ignore the Chrome warning. This is very common. He attached the .exe file and I downloaded it. Chrome said it's a virus, and I said to myself "oh forget you," and kept the file.
But before I double-clicked on it, I checked the file's info, and everything was completely normal. But when I was about to close the window, I noticed the product version and file version said "6.6.6.6" while the size said "666 KB." I thought it was odd, but I just shrugged that off and clicked the file.
Man I wish I didn't.
It restarted, but before that the wallpaper changed into a creepy red background. After restarting, which the background color was replaced to a dark shade of red, there were like billions of junk users. All of the junk user's names were just gibberish with symbols and emojis, while my account's name was "NO ESCAPE."
"What the fuck?" I said to myself. By the way, all of the account profile pictures were a recreation of the default one in red and black. I signed into my account, but before that, I noticed some of my keyboard keys were unusable, and the mouse click was flipped to the right one.
And like the 0001.exe virus, there were junk files with an unknown type of extension. I tried opening CMD, but it was disabled by the administrator. Same for Windows Registry. I freaked out, and restarted my computer. I signed in, but this wasn't just an ordinary thing, it was a FREAKING SPECTACLE WAITING FOR ME. All of the icons were moving by themselves, which made my computer slow.
I restarted the computer and signed in, and now, whenever I try to open a program, I get this textbox:
"(1) New Message from Fred Durst"
fred durst says: no computer today silly boy go outsie to play."
And no, I'm not even typing like that. The message was actually written like that. The UWP apps didn't work either. I restarted (ONCE ONCE ONCE AGAIN) and signed in. The apps worked this time, but the screen was eroding. I restarted (ONCE ONCE ONCE ONCE AGAIN) and signed in. Now, when I try to open a program, It opens Notepad and it started typing by itself.
This is what it said:
"THERE IS NO ESCAPE NOW.
DO NOT TRY TO CLOSE THIS WINDOW,
YOUR COMPUTER IS DONE FOR ANYWAY.
DO YOU WANT TO ENJOY THE LAST MINUTES
USING YOUR COMPUTER?"
I typed in "yes" because I though "no" wouldn't work.
It said "GOOD LUCK."
If someone asks you to try the trojan out, DONT USE IT. EVEN ON A VIRTUAL MACHINE IT WILL DESTROY YOUR PC
The virus can be removed if you delete and reinstall Windows.
