Hey! Name's Michelle, but call me Mitch okay?

I was playing Phantasmagoria of Flower View. I decided to practice after so many fails in my online sessions.

Mystia Lorelei. Mystia was one I was attempting to expertise, plus, I needed to master correct timing so I can defeat my oponents.

VS. Mode.... Human versus Familiar.... Mystia Lorelei.... versus random.... random location... that was pretty much it.

I was matched up with Tewi and the Bamboo Shrine of The Lost, Tewi's version, by the way. Not the Marisa or Reimu ones. Funny, I wasn't that picky. Anyway, I did some extra success, I did some extra failure, I did some extra everything. I then bet the little rabbit, but instead of the normal, as in, the worn out look and an anime-style sad face, Tewi was bruised as if she was stabbed here and there.

Mystia's portrait was all right. But she was somewhat... out of her character. It was alright to see her as lightly sadistic - even a failure in being one as she attempted to scare her victims to "eat" them. That's what would a night sparrow normally do... right?

Weird stuff set aside, let's keep playing.

I did the same thingmajingy again.

Same character, Mystia, random character and stage. I got Yuuka in her home stage.

As usual, I beat Yuuka, and saw what seemed like Yuuka stabbed from different parts, this time it seemed like she bled a bit. Even her umbrella seemed to to be having a bit of blood stains. I gasped, because Mystia wasn't supposed to do that. Plus, if Mystia was going to actually to hurt someone brutally, that person better be a human, not a youkai like Yuuka.

Then... suddenly, without my choice it went the same way. Like the choosing thingy. Then out of no where Marisa was the chosen enemy. Marisa, my top main. Known for her unpredictable lasers of doom. Her home stage, the Bamboo Forest of The Lost, her version, again, okay?

I've noticed something different. Unlike the "DEAD PARROT" defeat signs showing up, it was replaced by "STAGE STEALER". It seemed a bit eerie in a sense. The dialogue... made it feel much more eerie in a way.

Mystia smiled, but this time she had a smile similar to the infamous Smile.JPG; it looked quite realistic. She was frothing saliva.

"You stage stealer." She said.

"I did nothing, I was just having fun!" Marisa said. She appeared bleeding to her death, her neck about to crack. But a strike of confidence was still there. Suddenly she was replaced by something purple- but it was only for a split-second but thankfully I screencapped it on Paint.

It was PC-98 Marisa suffering from Windows Marisa's pain.

Suddenly, like Irisu Syndrome, a weird sound effect came, and it crashed.

I re-opened the game and it stole my control. It did the exact same thing. And then I was matched up with a blonde girl with red-ish eyes... wearing a blue, maid-like dress, and a white hat with a red ribbon...

Kana?

Kana Anaberal was my main in the original Phantasmagoria game. She was pretty much like the Prismiver sisters- polgerists who were created by deceased young girls.

But it was impossible I would be matched up with Kana in PoFV, since she was only in PoDD. Suddenly, it began to detoriate. The game began to detoriate slowly. Fairies turned into different things- the hearts with happy faces. Suddenly the background turned into a dim shade of red. Bullets suddenly turned like the old-school ones. Mystia and Kana's sprites were converted to match the PC-98's graphical limitations. And finally- the theme transformed to a big mess of Mystia's theme under PC-98 standards and a slow, moaning version of Vanishing Dream. Mystia defeated Kana and the game crashed.

I'm feeling pain right now.

either delete this file and play the game

Read this file and delete the game

Good morning. This is Mitch's mother. She is in the hospital and I'm with her typing this. I'm afraid to say she is in grave danger of death. These files (the game and this) are being kept for evidence because the police was investigating what happened. Currently we have thoughts that a murderer climbed to the big window and stabbed her here and there. But since of what has happened in Mitch's story we were thinking it might have been a paranormal event. It should also be noted that the story is currently up on the web if anyone would be glad to help us. Thank you for your kind consideration.
