Pokémon HG/SS Easter Egg

Me and my brother always loved Pokemon. We both owned all of the games, and we had opposite versions, like if I had HG he had SS. Which was true. I would always be asking him for Pokemon, since he had lots, until he got into cheating. He used his Action Replay for hours on end, finding cheat codes and entering them. I never liked cheating, since it could mess up your game, but cheating is what ended my brother's Pokemon days.

One day, he just seemed... Disturbed. He was avoiding anything that was related to Pokemon. He wouldn't eat his breakfast, and I was worried about him. We went to school, and when we got home, he asked me, "Please get rid of my Pokemon games. All of them. Please!" He seemed very tense, and I wanted to know what was wrong right away. "What happened? I want to know, NOW!" I said to him. But all he could do was mumble, "SoulSilver...the blood...so......creepy..." I went up to his room as fast as I could, throwing my backpack off in my room along the way. I went to his dresser and opened the container where he kept all of his Pokemon games, and took out SoulSilver. I needed to know what happened on that game that shook him so much. I went into my room and grabbed my DS off my table, took out Pearl, and put in SoulSilver.

The game started up normally and I selected his save file. He was Lyra, the female character, and was saved on top of Mt. Silver, in Red's usual spot. I checked out his team. He had Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Celebi, all shiny and level 100. I exited out of that and turned around to leave, but then somebody came running up to me. I was shocked to see that was Kris, the player from Crystal Version. She said, "Lyra, have you seen Gold? I was thinking we could search for him together."

"C'mon!" Lyra started leading Kris, like you do with your rival in Platinum. I decided to explore the mountain first. Suddenly, I came upon a peculiar cave I had never seen before, so I entered it. I walked further into the cave, when I saw Gold's sprite, pale as the snow that lies atop Mt. Silver, crying and sitting in a thick puddle of blood. I went over and talked to him, and it said, "A piece of...of...torn labcoat is right by Gold's body, it looks like Gold was murdered...by Professor Oak!" Kris said,

"Prof. Oak? No way! He gave me a Pokedex and everything!" But Lyra said,

"Sorry, but it's the truth. C'mon, let's get revenge."

The screen faded into the sight of Prof. Oak's lab. Kris and Lyra were slashing at the Professor. His sprite turned into what Gold's looked like. At that point, I just turned off the game. Now I had seen what had shaken my brother up so much.
