Pokemon BloodMoon

Hello there. My name is Michael, and today I will tell you about the haunting and terrifying story of an accursed Pokemon game, Pokemon BloodMoon.

On July 4th, 2007, I was 19 years old and we were celebrating Freedom and Liberty in America with a fireworks show. The show lasted around 1-2 hours, we were driving home when my Mom and Dad stopped in at Goodwill. I was hoping they'd let me get Pokemon Diamond or Pearl- I always like to run to the electronics part of Goodwill just to look at the casing.

I look to the right of Diamond and Pearl to see a game called "Pokemon BloodMoon". I immediately became attracted to the game, thinking it was a spin-off game like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or something. So I told my Mom to buy it for me, and she said "Ok...?" The game cost about $19.99, I think.

We drove home about 30 minutes later. I ran to my room, grabbed my DS and stuck in the cartridge. When I booted up the game the screen went red, the color of blood. Then the title screen came. It showed Swampert, Sceptile, and Blaziken all on the ground with blood pools and blood still spurting out. I got scared at the sight of this photo. I selected "NEW GAME" regardless and went from there.

It showed the new Professor peppered with bullet holes on the ground, then a text box showed up saying these words: "No more games..." I got really scared and pressed A to get away from the image. Then, the game started up with my room covered with blood on the walls, floors, and ceiling. My body began to shake with fear at this point, I walked downsairs to see the mother the same way, with her guts spilled everywhere.

I walked outside to see all the pedestrians with guts and blood spurting and oozing out. I couldn't take it anymore, so I went out my house, carrying the game, took a hammer, and started to smash it. I went mentally insane over this one game. It took 3 years for me to recover.

This game still haunts my mind this very day. This wasn't a game anymore, this was a nightmare. A nightmare that I can't escape from.
