Recess Lost Episode

A few years ago, i used to work for one of the most famous companies ever to exist, Disney. I had a job as one of the viewers of episodes of the then popular cartoon Recess. just to see what we think about it, and if it would suit as childrens entertainment. it started on a slow and somewhat silent workday; with the exception of the ever going photo copier. I was sitting at my office chair, bored, waiting for the day to end, i sat there playing around with a pencil like it was a Rubix cube or something. Anyways, after about an hour of boredom, the director came in with an unusual look on his face, moving around the room really quickly like he was excited about something, he then continued to explain that the company were running a special episode for a kid with cancer whom disney had been sponsoring for charity. He said that the episode hadn't been viewed by anyone else yet, so luckily we were chosen to do it.

We were all sent to seperate rooms to watch the tape, which was oddly crap looking for a newly made tape, but nontheless i procceded to sit on the small chair, i was kinda creeped out by the room i had to be in; it was small and square with a blinking light in the center of the ceiling, but i didn't really care much and continued to sit on my old plastic chair, eager to see the episode. As i put the tape in, and pressed the play button it started making an odd clicking sound as if it was broken in places, but it was obvliously a new tape. I saw a black screen open in front of me, no disney logo or anything, and then it went straight to starting the episode, which was odd. It showed a dark night sky, no music, as it zoomed into a boy, who you couldn't see very well because it was too dark all you could see was his face, and he had what could be really pale skin. Walking down the road, all on his own; he had a disturbingly frightened facial expression and continously looked at the camera in a worrying manner, when suddenly a shadowy figure slid out of the darkness, he made a heavy breathing sound as he started slowly walking towards the boy, who then turned to see the figure behind him, and suddenly he put a really sad, miserable face on and stared directly at the camera, i was a bit shocked by how miserable it was. the boy stood there for about 10 seconds slightly sobbing, before running in the other direction, the shadow the followed him up the road and down an ally, the boy then screamed in a really frightened tone "Oh my god! what do you want....", he eventually got stuck at a dead end, with all hope lost, screaming almost completely incomprehensible sobs and crys as the camera moved into the view of the figure who soon ran at the boy and pulled out a knife, he then swiftly stabbed it into the boys neck, spurting blood everywhere. i sat there for a minute in horror watching the figure stab the boy, as blood and chunks of flesh splurted out, i said to myself what just happened? what the fuck is that doing in a disney cartoon, i quickly thought that it may have been intended to be shown to older audiences, which is still quite odd for Disney. The screen fades out into darkness, and shows you that it is day time, but it is rather stormy, giving a dark and gloomy impression on the atmosphere, when it zooms in on what appears to be the classroom that all the shows characters normally reside in, i thought that the cartoon might finally get to a good part.......to be continued!
