Regular Show Bootleg Tape

I was looking through my local retro store, which has a lot of retro games, CDs, DVDs, and other shit. I found a DVD that appeared to be a collection of Classic regular show episodes, and I decided "Fuck it." and bought it. It looked very bootleg. The characters looked very slightly off in terms of shape, and had different colors. I thought that this would be a shitty bootleg that tried to capture the magic of regular show's humor. However, this assumption wasn't very accurate.

When I put the DVD into my portable CD player, it showed as "Regular Show Best Moment collection." I played it and it showed a typical menu. It actually looked official until I looked at the episode list. It had the entirety of season 1, and the pilot. "How did they get the pilot?" I asked myself. I then played the "pilot."

The title of this pilot was "Regular Show: Adult Swim Pitch." This made me question even further what was going on, because this was a peice of regular show media that should not be public. It was a pitch to Adult swim by JG Quintel. I assumed that this was a pitch of a bootleg Regular show to some bootlegging company like Reagal Films, the people who made A Day with Spongebob Squarepants. The episode continued forward, and it showed High Five Ghost and Rigby hanging out, a duo that is very uncommon to see in the show. I didn't question it, however, as I was still flooded with questions about that opening.

High Five Ghost explains that he had escaped from Hell, and that he was running out of time before Satan would get to him. At this moment, I paused the DVD and looked up "Regular Show Adult Swim Pitch" on google, and nothing really showed up. I decided to keep watching. After Mordecai heard the news, it got very similar to "Cheer Up Pops" from season 8, so much so that I thought that this might have been what that episode was based off of. But during the middle of the party, a crater opening up in the house, killing Muscle Man, Mordecai, and Pops. However, there was no blood. I immediately went to turn off the DVD player and ask questions to the store employees.

"Hello, welcome to the exchange, how may I help you?" the employee asked. "Hi, I want to return this DVD, it has been showing very strange things and I want to ask a few questions." I replied. The employee took a look at the DVD and said that it was a bootleg of Regular Show, but they illegally obtained the Pilot from the Adult Swim Headquarters. When I asked where he got this information from, I was promptly kicked out of the store.

My Theory? This was either made as some kind of Halloween special for Regular Show if it got accepted onto Adult swim, or it was made for shock value by JG Quintel. The thing that confused me and made me question what the hell was going on was the employee's reaction when I asked how he got this information. I have no idea why he kicked me out of the store. If anyone else has seen this, let me know and give information on what happens next, I don't have the DVD anymore.
