Ren's Nightmare
You may know about the show that later became a garbage Adult Party Cartoon,Called the Ren And Stimpy Show,Right? Well,Believe it or not,I once saw a episode that broadcasted on tv in mid-1994 to 1995. Now,I know this episode was somewhat retrenched in other episodes of the show,like red screaming while having a bad dream,but this episode,isn't like that,definitely not,it's not a dream. I remember watching the tv when I was a kid,scrolling threw channels,I knew Nickelodeon was my favorite,so as soon I thought about it,I checked on Nickelodeon,Ren And Stimpy was on.
The Episode
I remember seeing the episode as soon as it came on,I even recorded it on VHS. The Titlescreen was just a black night sky with white stars doodled on with a wacky-ish font in the title in the color of orange saying "Ren's Nightmare" Created by John K. And all the other people who worked on the episode. Then the titlescreen faded to black and then the episode began. It showed Ren getting up to have breakfast,but instead he sees Stimpy doing his stupid antics as usual,but Stimpy wouldn't look at him. Ren walked up to Stimpy and said: "Hey Stimpy,Where's my breakfast?". Stimpy won't reply,Ren then asks again but more furious this time.
Stimpy won't reply still,then Ren Says: "Hey Stimpy! I'm Hungry,I'm starving,I want my freaking breakfast man!". And then it goes to a close up of Ren's Chest almost bone,you can see his skin on the clearly visible ribs. Then,about thirty-seconds later,Stimpy finally reply's and looks at Ren. Stimpy had no eyes or mouth,but he had his nose. He then would say: "Are you happy now,Ren?". But for some reason part of the ending audio sounded cut and the line would repeat three times,or four. I can't really remember. Then the screen looks like it's freezing,like if a game gets laggy. About two-minutes later,Ren reply's with: "Stimpy... Are you alright?". It then would have a closeup of Stimpy's Blank face,only a faint Carved-Like Pumpkin face would appear like if his eyes and mouth were there.
Then Ren started to look really worried,it would then show the next scene,Showcasing Ren at the Hospital,Staring down at the floor,Then a Human Doctor walks into the screen,His Arms and head are barely visible. He would then say in a calm-tone: "Stimpy would have to stay here for a while.. When we first looked at him,we were horrified and he probably has no chance of living,I estimate he will be done for in the next day,We don't know what caused this but it could have been possibly done due to Radiation.". Ren then remembers something click in,and then it shows a flashback sequence of Ren,acting like a idiot,putting Radiation in his house walls to keep any Rats Away from his house last night. He then also remembers Stimpy hugging and kissing the wall when he woke up. Ren then starts sobbing,the doctor says now in a booming voice and tells him to get a grip before he gets kicked out onto the streets,of course,this was kinda a form of speech,I don't really remember what the doctor actually said but that's what I could recall. The next scene shows Stimpy walking out of the door,Still in his blank-faceless state. Ren is still sobbing,he gets up and takes a look at Stimpy. Ren's Eyes for some reason turn pure white for a split second,Stimpy's eyes would appear and Ren's mouth had spiked teeth for that single frame. It then went to a closeup of Ren's Face,Then his eyes look back into his head,and he faints. Then it cuts to a scene of a Hallway,with doctors scrambling helping other patients,but then for some reason,they all turn transparent and fade away,then it shows another closeup,but it's Stimpy again. Then the Episode Ends.
Aftermath
After that episode ended,I was confused,tho it kinda felt like a horror movie to me to,even tho it wasn't even October at the time. And you might be wondering,do I still have the tape? Yes,yes I do,but it's not in good condition,and it would keep going to a blue screen,audio won't play,all basic tape difficulties.
