Ren and Stimpy.VHS

I was browsing an old and mysterious charity shop the other day when I stumbled across a VHS copy of 'The Ren and Stimpy Show.' It was one of my favourite TV shows as a kid and so feeling nostalgic I bought it for 99p. I got home and immediately popped it in my VHS player. The TV flicked violently and strange music began to play. Suddenly, an image of Ren performing a live autopsy on a living cat appeared . The scene was animated in excruciating detail. The screen then changed to Stimpy staring intensely into the screen for 5 minutes in silence. Abruptly he spoke. "Tonight when you sleep, I'm going to stand over you and slit your throat." I was very confused. "That's definitely not the same soundtrack I remember as a kid!" I murmured.
