SORRY, Pocket God Creepypasta
Author's note: this story is really similar to my other game-based story, Petz 000, but I think there are enough differences here to warrant this one a page too. This one is from 2012.
One day I was just laying down in my bed, carelessly listening to music, until I suddenly got bored. I decided to play with some of the apps on my IPhone. I pressed the little circle and it took me back to the menu. I scrolled to the right a few times until I reached Pocket God.
I haven't played it in like, four or five months, so why not? I tapped on the app icon and it went right into it. It was on the loading screen with those little pocket god news boxes. After a few seconds it was done loading, but it seemed different. It was at the Sand Island with the octopus statue like always, but the screen was dimmed, and the music was distorted and playing at a lower, slower pitch like some kind of funeral march.
A chill ran down my spine. But I continued. I tapped the add pygmy button, and a pygmy dropped out of the sky, only there was one problem. It was dead. I tapped the add pygmy button again and another dead pygmy fell out of the sky. The other scary part was their names were changed to DEAD all in capital letters. The game must have been hacked or something. I tapped the add pygmy button a few more times and more dead pygmies fell.
I decided I'd click on the map, so I did, but the map was different. The background wasn't tan, it was red. This time I knew for sure there was something wrong with the game. Anyway, I continued. I selected Ape Island. This time, the music was normal, but the screen was dimmer than Sand Island, and all of the dead pygmies were gone. I clicked add pygmy six times and all six pygmies fell. They were laying in a dead position, but this time, their eyes were open, they were also black with red pupils, and their mouths hung open.
Another chill ran down my spine. So now I had possessed pygmies in a dead position. I just looked at them, staring at me with those red eyes. I was getting creeped out, so I decided I'd change the islands again. I went to the map, and its background was still red. I clicked on Graveyard Island and it took me there. The screen was lighter than that of Ape Island's, but it was still dim. And the music was distorted and slow again. I tapped on the add pygmy button once, and two pygmies fell out of the sky. They were in a regular dead position again without those piercing red eyeballs. But their mouths still hund open like a possessed pygmy.
Suddenly, a ghost flew out of one. It just floated there for a second. I slid my finger from it to the top left of the screen to guide it to the light, but it didn't move. I tried again, and the light appeared, But this time it was black. I lifted my finger immediatley. Suddenley, the ghost's expression turned into a demonic simle. Then it mouthed out something, and the sound came out very staticy. But I could tell that it was mouthing out the word Go. I quickly Xed out of Pocket God. Now my hands are quivering and my heart is pounding.
Now I am way too nervous to play Pocket God again.
