Hello, I would like to tell you one of the worst things ever happened to me, and I cannot unsee what I saw. Just a warning, this has a little "weird things" so don't be proud
THE PLOT/STORY
So, I was on the World Wide Web, back in 2011, when Windows 7 came out, I was looking for WinRAR but, I can't afford WinRAR, I didn't even attempt to pirate it because the owners COULD sue me. So I went to this website (wln-rar.com. This is not a real website, so don't go to it.) and I found some free WinRAR versions
THE DOWNLOADING
I went to the download page for WinRAR 1.0, It took 38 minutes, WinRAR installs fast but this took longer, then I opened this sus file called "WlnRAR-Installer.bat" That's weird, I thought the installer was a .EXE. So, I ignored the "EULA" and stuff and I installed it, and oh boy, I regret it...
SCARY PART
When I clicked "Finish" when the installer was done, It had Zalgo font, it recommended me to download some help guide called "Scary.rar" And I downloaded it. I extracted the file and here it comes...
I opened the file and the PDF, it says, Your next buddy, I recommend you don't turn off your computer or look behind you. I thought this was a joke but I said "Meh, who cares? I will just look behind me, see? No one is there..." I looked behind myself and saw... Jeff the Killer. So, I ran out my room ASAP and went to the kitchen and called 911, they came over but the police got killed...
So, I decided to find a police station in my other city near my county, It was somewhere in Arizona, I took my dads car and drove to the local station.
When I got there, I was shocked, more police was killed, the police station was... EMPTY!!! Suddenly, I heard footsteps and went to the 2nd floor, I went in a door with no windows.
I heard a knock and I open the door a little-tiny bit and I saw someone who looks like Jeff the Killer. So, I opened the door and jumped over Jeff and I ran out to my friends home with proof this is real... I went in the house and showed images, He said his friends got this issue too. Your not alone, bud, just be safe with me.
I decided to contact tech support and I got a response the next day... My PC had to be repaired and Microsoft said "We will ask the owners to get rid of the website so this does not happen again." I was like, thank you!!!
Remember kids, don't download WinRAR 1.0 from any fishy website.
