Shrek: Deleted Scene

I used to work for Dreamworks some time ago. I felt destined to succeed in my career. It's pretty easy for me to work efficiently. One thing I should add is that I've always loved Shrek, because I used to love the 1st one so much. I didn't like Shrek: The Final Chapter however. In my opinion, I just thought it felt rushed, somehow. I always yearn for excellence and use my knowledge for the greater good. I didn't quite know what the job was all about. It was about making films, and animation. I mostly clean up, and I sometimes research things. However, one day, I discovered something horrific.

The Discovery of the Tape

One day, I was walking in the corridor. I found a old tape on the ground. It was a tape for Shrek, it looked the same as the original tape, but beneath the word Shrek, I noticed something written in black sharpie, it was kind of hard to tell, but, then I read it out loud, here's what it said. "Shrek: Deleted Scene." This was odd for me however, because I didn't know that Shrek had a scene that never made the cut. I was the only one there, it felt creepy. No matter where I looked, nobody was in the studio. I was starting to get suspicious. I walked into the main meeting room, and the door was already opened for me. "Odd." I thought. I popped the tape into the VCR, and it began.

The Deleted Scene

It started with Shrek, sitting on his sofa, with Donkey sitting beside him. The animation seemed to be stiff, and Shrek had a straight face. I was getting the feeling that this must've not been in the movie due to the uncanny nature, maybe scaring some younger viewers, I thought. "Donkey!" Shrek shouted, with a slightly angry face. The fact is, the word that Shrek said, his mouth didn't match up with what he was saying. He was mouthing this. "Death." I was starting to freak out. Donkey smiled, but his eyes seemed to cross, rapidly. Donkey was now staring at me, with a smile that seemed evil. Donkey's teeth were a yellowish colour, and his eyes turned bloodshot. Donkey seemed to laugh, but he sounded demonic. "You shall never see the light of day." Donkey said, in a monotone voice. At this point, I was horrified. Donkey's front teeth seemed to come into view, and they were bleeding. Shrek stared at me, with a grim smirk. Suddenly, the colours got distored, and flashes of red and green popped onto the screen. The tape began to overheat. Slowly, Shrek and Donkey looked towards, and they both looked angry. Suddenly, a red tint filled the screen. Shrek screamed, as his body was slowly being sliced open by Donkey. These screams, they sounded real, like my best friend. Donkey looked at me. "I killed your best friend." Donkey laughed. I realised then, Shrek looked like my best friend. Soon, all of my friends were killed in equally inhumane and brutal ways. A dark red screen appeared, and there was white text. "Hell awaits." It said. I took the tape out. I realised that the message was made for me. I locked the tape away, in the safety of a nearby vault, and never watched it again.

Aftermath

I've quit Dreamworks, and now, I can't sleep without thinking about that deleted scene. It was very disturbing and I hope nobody ever finds that tape I've hidden away. If you ever come across a tape labelled Shrek: Deleted Scene, don't watch it. Otherwise you will know true fear. And you'll never be the same again.
